Hi everyone!I wanted to share what I’ve been working on lately. It’s been a big challenge to turn what was originally planned as a game into a comic / visual novel, but I’m really happy with how it’s coming along and I hope you’ll like it too.

This is just a sneak peek, since I’ll still be working on Chapter One. I’ll keep you updated on future progress.

Here is the download link

MEGA - GDRIVE

P.S. It is read from left to right, top to bottom.

Thank you so much for your support and patience. I'll be reading your feedback and comments.See you in the next update!

I still think keeping it as a game would be best... You could expand on what you've already made in the current game but more as a visual novel... Unless I'm misunderstanding, is this form of comic what you meant by visual novel?

I would have loved to continue this project as a game too, but after researching Manjuu’s permissions for the Azur Lane IP, it’s clear that they only allow the use of images and videos, and that games using their IP are not tolerated, as shown by other creators’ experiences. Because of that, I decided to continue the project in this comic format. Over the next days, I’ll be gradually updating it so it can cover all the current content of the game, releasing it in chapters for easier reading and enjoyment.

:( I still think it's worth a shot until they say no. Oh well. Good luck with the project!

Are you not going to do the Light Novel format anymore? or the comic is the side of that?

My initial impression is not good. In this comic it feels like the girls are not speaking to you (the reader) but to the commander and you're just looking at the conversation between them. It's a complete perspective change. I am also concerned about how the ntr will be portrayed in this comic format where we (the commander) can no longer make choices but that'll be further down the line. Very disappointed that you'll discontinue the renpy version as I was very much enjoying what you've done so far but I understand your situation so I will keep reading and giving feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. That’s exactly why I posted the sneak peek, so we can shape this together. In the next few days I’ll put together a version that keeps the Commander’s first-person POV and we can compare. Personally, I think a strong POV feels more intimate, and for the NTR parts, quick POV shifts to Crom will land harder while staying close to the original Ren’Py feel.
