Raw Diffusion is growing, and with the launch of the new website, I’m taking another big step toward improving the entire membership experience.

The new website is already live and fully functional:

It includes Patreon login, tier-based download access, the new Request Area, personal submission periods and request tracking. The website will continue to evolve, and I’ll keep adding improvements and new features over time.

Upcoming Pricing Update

The prices of the following tiers will be adjusted:

Explorer: $5.50

Adventurer: $10.00

At the same time, I want to reward members who choose to support Raw Diffusion for longer.

You can receive 30% off Explorer or Adventurer—either for your first month or when choosing an annual membership.

🏷️ Discount code: RAWDIFF2

📅 The code will be active from September 8, 2026 at 12:01 AM German time (CEST) until October 08.

(can't activate the code now due to a 7 day patreon change lock)

The code stands for Raw Diffusion 2.0 and celebrates the launch of the new website and the next stage of this project.

Why I’m Making This Change

I’ve noticed that many people join the Explorer tier, download everything available to them and then immediately cancel.

A member I regularly talk to described it with a very fitting metaphor: it feels a little like buying one item at a supermarket and then emptying all the shelves on the way out.

The downloads are part of the membership benefits, of course, and everyone is welcome to use the access included with their tier. However, producing, organizing, uploading and maintaining this amount of content requires an enormous amount of work.

Raw Diffusion is not my main job, but I invest at least as much time into it as I do into my regular job. The new website, download system, Patreon integration, request management and ongoing automation have added even more work—but they also allow me to offer a much better experience.

This change is intended to create a fairer balance while rewarding those who decide to stay and support Raw Diffusion over a longer period.

I sincerely hope you understand this decision. Your membership is not simply a payment for files—it is direct support and appreciation for the time, effort and care I put into creating and maintaining everything.

If you have any questions, concerns or feedback, please feel free to contact me here or on Discord. I’m always happy to listen.

Thank you so much for supporting Raw Diffusion and being part of its future!

A Loyalty Gift for Long-Term Supporters

After listening to your feedback, I want to make sure that the members who have consistently supported Raw Diffusion receive the recognition they deserve.

My long-term Explorer and Adventurer supporters will receive three complimentary months of membership as a personal loyalty gift.

I will contact all eligible members individually through Patreon and send them their personal membership codes.

This is my way of sincerely thanking those who have stayed with me and helped Raw Diffusion reach this point. The new pricing structure will still move forward, but my loyal, long-term supporters will not be forgotten.

I see it a bit differently, and I think it's kind of unfair to the people who have supported you consistently over a long period of time. Everything you've been able to do here was funded by the people who kept an active subscription going, even when they never made a big deal about it. Your investment in the website and in expanding the experience wasn't paid for out of nowhere either, it was paid for by us, and it's an investment in the future that you chose to make freely and deliberately. The people who come in, clear everything out and leave will always be there. That will happen at 5.50 too, and at 10, and at 20. You're not going to change that. But right now you're punishing the people who backed you from the very beginning. Instead of making the 3 dollar tier passive, keeping it active for the people who already have it, and adding a new tier at a higher price for newcomers and for the ones who come and go, you're putting the extra weight on the people who have been here the longest and who support you month after month. Personally, I don't think that's a good solution.

Thank you for sharing your perspective so openly. I genuinely understand where you are coming from, and I absolutely do not want long-term supporters to feel punished or taken for granted. I am incredibly grateful for every single member—especially those who have supported me consistently from the beginning. Unfortunately, out of more than 100 paid members, fewer than five have remained since those early days. That makes their loyalty even more meaningful to me. I also want to be honest about the situation from my side. After more than six months and several hundred hours of work, I have not even come close to recovering the cost of the equipment required for this project. That does not include the enormous amount of time spent creating content, fulfilling requests, organizing files, maintaining the archive and developing the new website. You are right that people who subscribe briefly, download everything and leave will probably always exist, regardless of the price. The new structure will not eliminate that completely. However, I still need to find a model that is more sustainable for me and better reflects the work and investment involved. At the same time, I think your concern about loyal supporters is completely valid. I have listened to your feedback and updated the announcement: my long-term Explorer and Adventurer supporters will receive three complimentary months of membership as a personal loyalty gift. I will contact the eligible members individually through Patreon and send them their personal codes. The new pricing structure will still move forward, but I want to make it clear that my long-term supporters have not been forgotten. Thank you for expressing your concerns honestly and respectfully.

Nice to see you moving forward. I have a suggestion though. Name your files for future proofing. You name your file in such a way that it will get either confusing, or you will have multiple of the same character with no difference other than a 1 or 2, and then you wont know which set is which. For example, you have Saeko Busujima - Highschool of the Dead today, but you named the file "SaekoNew zip". Not a good system, and really inaccurate. It should be something like Saeko Busujima - Highschool of the Dead 09-2026 zip because that is the character, the franchise, and the date. Great for organizing and keeping track of characters and franchises. I have had to rename all your files to make them accurate and organized in my time here. You should also be using tags. For example, Saeko Busujima as a tag, Highschool of the Dead as a tag. Easier for finding things later. Just something to think about. :)

Im working on that already. Future Zips will have new names :)
