Let's start things off on a positive note! Eldritch Akasha: Dreams of the Void is now available! You can pick it up here at DTRPG. Copies for my scribes will be going out soon!

On a less positive note (depending on your point of view) I am planning to take a short break from releases for at least a month. This means I probably won't be releasing a book in June, because a combination of minor burnout plus real life stuff going on is kicking my ass, and June is looking to be particularly busy. Also, honestly, two straight years of monthly releases has kind of been kicking my ass!

This will mean one of two things:

1) I pause the patreon for a month. This guarantees no release for June, since once you pause the patreon you can't unpause it that month. I have no idea what this will do to discord roles.

2) I don't pause the patreon. If I do release a book, scribes get it as normal. If I don't release a book, I am going to give all the scribes a coupon for 10$ off any book in Studio M—'s backlog as their monthly reward. This isn't really optimal, and I am not sure how I feel about it, so its less likely to happen. Patrons would still get early access to content, because I am still likely to be working on things for July/August releases (the next Eldritch Akasha and the book containing the Raveler).

I am going to put this up for a poll for now, see the bottom of this post. Poll ends late Wednesday, because I need to decide before the 1st of the month. If the "don't pause the patreon" wins, I am going to keep everyone's payments on Patreon for the month and will happily refund anyone who asks for one.

There is also the bonus third option, but I would need to run it by our patrons and hear back from patreon support about whether I could even do it: changing the patreon to a per-release subscription model instead of monthly. I would still only release a single "monthly release" each month, so this would essentially let me take breaks more easily. This would change the date people are charged from the 1st of the month to whenever I release a book. No idea how it would work for discord roles. Whenever I hear back from patreon's support, I will post an update about this idea in particular.

Well from where I'm sitting the third option seems best, but it's your patreon, so if you'd rather pause for the month you should do you.

Studio M—

It is the option I would choose if I could choose it. Currently, Patreon is set up so you cannot change from a monthly payment schedule to a charge by release schedule. I sent an email to support to ask about the possibility of them changing it for me, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.
