Small Update & Plans for July (Patreon)

Hey there patrons!

Akashic Spheres: Unraveled Magic is well underway!

This book has two focuses; introducing a new 'variant' of Spellweaver that completely lacks veils focused around Spheres of Might and power in the form of the Raveler base class. This new class uses Ravels instead of Veils, which function similarly but are way less complex.

Its second focus in on new content for the Spellweaver itself, reworking its spheres archetypes to balance them a bit better and make them more competetive with other spheres classes and to provide brand new options to utilize spheres using the Spellweaver! It also includes an AT for the Spellweaver to use ravels in place of veils as well, if you want to use Ravels + Vancian (or Psionics, and so on!) instead of Veils.

A short public playtest will be opened up for it in the next few days so I can get some more Spheres-players eyes on it, but if you want to check it out now patrons can see it in the #private-project-files channel of the discord!

Now on to the Plans for July:

I am probably going to take the month of July off. My poor health this month has made me pretty unproductive and I was already feeling pretty burned out on top of that. To clarify "take the month off" means I am not releasing a book. I will still be working on future content during July, I am just not going to be focusing all of my effort on one single book to make the deadline for a July release. As for what this means for the patreon, please check out this poll to make your voice heard. Currently the "10$ coupon for scribes" option is winning. I am going to try and remember to close the poll by the 25th, a week from now. If it does win, and you don't want the coupon, consider this the chance to change your tier for next month. I will also be leaving any money from patreon next month in the account in case anyone misses this post before the 1st and wants a refund so that they can change their tier for the month.

As for Patreon's response to changing this patreon to a "by release" payment structure: The short answer is I got told that it is impossible and I would need to make an entirely new page. So I guess that isn't happening.

There is always the chance that by the end of the month I am feeling another second wind of productivity and procrastinate taking the month off again, not sure what odds I would give it.

I hope everyone's month has been good, and I continue to dearly appreciate all of your support!
