Hey everyone ;__;

I know I’ve been away for a while. The truth is… the current world events were really kicking my ass. The impending gloom and doom and some other general stress has been affecting my creativity. I almost felt that i wanted to quit… at least for a while… but I watched this video and it gave me the drive to come back stronger.

Are you guys dealing with this kinda slump too? I dont think I’m alone in this. Escapism is needed. Specially when your life is targeted everyday. Please be safe, everyone. I’ll be posting more regularly like before now.

So glad you're back! The world is more terrifying than I've experienced it before and I stopped doing art for a few months. But I've been reading Audre Lorde and her perspective really helped me, so I've been making an effort to do more creative things again

I fled the States, I couldn't take what was happening anymore, couldn't watch how much of my family was in favour of all of this. I was in university in Japan back in 2023 before having to withdraw- so I reapplied and did everything in my power to get out. Now that I am, it's a struggle making it day by day, but I'm mentally in a much better place. Studying humanities, social sciences and what not. So yeah, I get it, I really do. Trying to get back into my creative writing again.

Awe I have been continuing my support for you for a while, despite you not being as active as you once were, I hoped maybe you would return or even if you never did I was happy to be a patron as your art left an impression on me I was more than happy to repay any way I could. I can't speak for what you should do about your creative slump as only you can decide that, but know that your art spoke to me in a tough time in my life and it was impactful, whatever you decide, I hope you know that and I encourage you to always try to do your best and live life true to yourself ♥️

I didn’t get to comment when you posted bc I got busy with work!! But it’s honestly been so hard. I’ve honestly been living my life outta spite and free will. I just gotta keep telling myself that things will get better bc THEY JUST HAVE TO! I’m also taking time to rest, read, chat with friends/family, and live the best I can. And everyday my best is going to look different. I just gotta keep pushing, make my own lil impact, and do what I can with my own resources. I saw another IG reel that suggest making your own art as postcard to pass out at protests to have people send/mail to their reps and I thought that was cool!!
