So I’ve attempted to upgrade my wardrobe again. My belly has been hanging out of every single shirt that I own for the last 5 months now.

Despite my best efforts, and despite now wearing these bedsheets that are labeled 8XL…

I am still hanging out of them.

My overhang is simply too obstinate, too willful and too powerful. It refuses to be contained by these mere threads. I have not the power to deny his freedom and I have officially given up trying. I have become that concerningly obese guy whose belly is permanently on display, wobbling down low on his thighs with each step.

The way these huge shirts are fitting me feels so right. I love how big they make my chest and arms look, I love how my belly completely fills them out and I love that I have no choice but to accept it and rock the gut hanging out look forever now. It’s wild that I’m this fucking fat now. 😝 I think it suits me.
