Naming this comic Walls because everything else I came up with sounded a bit too much like a sitcom title 😅

I added a new intro page, redrew the splash page, redid the color grading and added a new page so this upload wouldn't be a complete retread of the original upload!

Do you guys enjoy the dark mode borders? I figure since so many people suffer from screen-related eye fatigue nowadays, it'd be more considerate to not use too much light in the digital uploads of this work.

I'll probably do a light mode if this work ever picks up enough traction for a print edition 😅 But I'm making no assumptions about whether people embrace this project or not. Thank you all so much all the same for reading 🙏

Oh man this is actually really nice to read on the eyes, though it does give it a solemn, maybe moody feel to a degree - actually, I'd call it melancholic, which would fit the initial vibe I'm getting. Definitely excited to see more of it.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I really wanna tell a nice, long story, and doing full color pages is just gonna destroy my hands and mind. 😭 I do have tentative plans to eventually do a color remaster later, but I really just want to tell the stories I want to tell first and foremost

Oh man, I can't wait for Dachi to flip our boy's attitude on life. How can he not be lonely if he feels how the dialogue tells us? Sounds like denial to me >:0 Get him, Dachi! Honestly, other than the first page, I didn't notice the dark borders at all haha! Probably because I'm a "dark mode only" person. I feel like they don't create an overly somber mood since you keep the panels large and they're currently bright. If they start to feel oppressive to you, maybe you could experiment with the borders being an extension of the panels in some way? Light patterns or shapes or something that break up any large area of the dark border?

Ah wasnt a complaint no need to be sorry ^^' it does make it a bit sorrowfull even more being used to the pretty color and lovely atmosphere of the prequel noe that i think about it but its fine dont worry ^^

Yay, I got a good grade in Fandom 101, something that is normal to want and totally possible to achieve. X3 Seriously, massive fan. It's not just the art, but the storytelling that keeps me coming back for more. I write novels (in much the same way a man tells his wife he'll clean out the shed "when he gets around to it"), and I'm seriously impressed with how much story you convey with so few words to use on every page. Can't wait to see more!

Right? You don't see it yet, but Levi kinda starts the series as a little bit of a dick, haha. Don't worry, he gets better. I'm real glad you don't feel that the black borders affect the mood. I didn't really want them to; I just wanted it to be an easier reading experience. As for the necklace! The Roxas resemblance totally hit me after I drew it - I am a fan of KH - but honestly it was more an after-the-fact thing. The wolf's (his name is Rove) fashion leans delinquent with some punk overtones, and I wanted something resembling a cross without it actually being a cross. Just a little splash of V-kei flavor. I look forward to this chapter being done because most of it takes place outside of school and I want to explore fashion and personal style more in this series 😅

Poor Levi. Good thing his future buddy is bad at math! That's funny about the necklace, but a lot of the jewelry design in Kingdom Hearts does hit that rebel punk just right, so win-win haha. The name Rove is great, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him and the other two who were out with Dachi!

Love the title btw,😍👌quite apt for the topics. They say, write what you know. We all have a part of Levi or Dachi in us, some more than others. As much as I'm upset you might have first hand knowledge about said topics. You're way of showing it, that allows others who are up that same creek to see it from the shores, which could help them. Is just great, plus you make it very entertaining at the same time. No easy feat when dealing with these topics.

I feel like the dark borders really adds to the atmosphere of this being in the past and Levi's gloominess. If the future panels start lightening up as the story does, that'd be a nice touch too. But I think you nailed it on the tone so far and the expressions! This almost feels like a Japanese high school setting too.
