Okay babes… I officially picked my favorite series and we’re starting with The Loyal Pin — Episode 1 😭💖This is my first rewatch and I am SO excited to experience this show again, this time with all of you. This series has my whole heart and I cannot wait to go through it together.

Quick heads up: the first ~8 minutes of this video include some announcements and a bit of real-life drama involving my friend 😅💅 — if you’re here just for the episode reaction, feel free to skip ahead with zero guilt. Totally get it.

Actually as long as I have time, doing a Zoom or a better option - using StreamYard. It's super easy to invite guest on a livestream for youtube. Just throwing that out there. But I was going to ask you, but I won't be getting back into movies/series etc. I don't mind doing one-offs with someone. BTW, is your friend a Gen Z?

Haha that would be fun!! We could figure it out. My friend is a millennial but we are both on the younger side of it, I am 33 and she is 31. So yeah lol! Why do you ask??

When it comes to your friend, if she is not feeling this, I would suggest you don’t torture her with watching it or putting her on the channel and I’m not saying everybody is like this, but I have seen some people get hatred and mean when they see somebody disagree with something that they are passionate about so if your friend does not feeling this, maybe not putting it on for her to everyone to watch might be the best thing. And that’s just me trying to look out for your friend. Second, if you wanna do a line for those, I’m all for that that would be fantastic and I’m assuming that everybody has seen this, but I’m surprised that there was so many people that haven’t so maybe spoilers are not OK until you hear from other people because I unlike you, I’ve seen this show 100 times I’m currently watching it Meesh and Dee and they’ve never seen it. And as far as the zoom goes, I’ll be done with that too. We gotta make our own community right lol

Haha yes with my friend I don't want to torture her by any means, I also just think its a bit sad I give my all to be interested in stuff she is and she says things like I don't care or I don't get why you like this. It has made me a bit sad but glad I have this awesome community to watch with, yes I will wait till I hear from some people I hope I didn't spoil too much here tried to just give like hints not straight up spoilers. Yes I am watching Mesh and Dee react too. I love them so much.

I can understand how you feel when you are so passionate about something of course you want people that you care about to see and feel why your so passionate about it and even if they are not into it they can be kind and understanding. They don’t have to be rude or tell you that they don’t see why you like it that is not up to them to decide or to understand it. People like you that is compassionate and caring and want to please everyone it’s hard to understand when you don’t get that in return and I’m sorry for that for you. You deserve it just like we all deserve it. I’m glad you made this channel. I don’t talk a lot. I’m very shy, but I have to say I’ve talked more in this community on this channel then on any other so when I started watching the Thai GLs I was looking for something that I wasn’t getting in my life and as I started watching more, I realized that I truly liked most of them this still on my roll my eyes at but for the most part I find the shows are really what I’m looking for and then I started seeing people that also watch them and how I tried to get my family and friends into them and couldn’t they were having the same problems. It’s quite strange when you think about it, this community is so big and growing, but yet we’re still all very far apart bringing us together. So if you need a friend, you got one in me we can talk about GLs all day long.

TBH I struggled to watch TLP (don't shoot me ok) particularly the first few episodes. I realise the Thai govt were partners but I thought the cultural scenes were too frequent & too long. I also initially struggled to like Anin's character but grew to respect her loyalty in not giving up on her love. I'm enjoying your reaction to a series you obviously love. Also, I just wanna say your friend sounds a bit like me as I'm very honest/blunt with long-time friends lol. Friends (like family) can unintentionally hurt each other. I've found being honest has worked as true/good friends will listen to each other's opinions. If we still disagree, we accept that. I'm sure you will both sort it out & hope you take this comment in the spirit it's given. ☺

I actually really respect this comment and I do think we can generally be honest with each other but I feel like being I am not really into that and I don't care at all can be hard to hear. Also I do not disagree about the Loyal Pin the first 4 episodes were actually very hard to get through because first off Anin is a bit too forward and also as you said the scenes were a bit long and boring in parts. I still loved it but I think its because I stuck it out and then grew to really appreciate it. Thank you for watching even if it's not your favorite.

I find that Gen Z and younger are overly sensitive with EVERYTHING. It's madding and as a Gen X, that left a fairly peaceful world for you guys, it has sure gone to hell. So it seems to me that all that sensitivity has actually eroded the ability to be kind, empathic, willing to compromise and personable. But I'll stop there before we get into THAT topic further, lol.

i struggled iniitally with the show too, the first few episodes but since i really enjoyed GAP, i wanted to give this a try so i powered through through it and grew to really enjoy. its still one of my top thai GLs. Although Clairebell is #1 for me and it probably wont be dethroned for a while but we shall see. It looks like there will be a lot of good GLs coming out soon. Like im super excited for Moonshadow with EmiBonnie and Enemies with Benefits with JanJingJing. Its kinda funny. I wasnt really into GLs initially but i got into them after watching Korean GLs on Youtube, at first out of boredom. Shoutout to the youtube channel SUKFILM and REDQ who have made some amazing short korean GL dramas. If you're ever interested in korean GLs, i definitely recommend those two channels. My current favorite korean GL is ON/OFF which just finished airing Season 2 and Season 3 is supposedly coming soon. hehe Then I found GAP and now im in the thai GL rabbit hole. I was basically watching two or three thai GL series at the same time. I'm currently trying to get through Queendom but its difficult since I've gotten busy with life stuff and i started watching kdramas again. so Queendom has been on the backburner but im planning to get back into before i fall behind on my thai GL watchlist

I totally get this, honestly. I struggled with the beginning too and I think that’s such a common GL experience — sometimes you really do have to power through the first few episodes before everything clicks. GAP definitely did that for a lot of us, so it makes total sense that it pulled you into giving other shows a real chance. Also… Clairebell being your #1 is extremely valid 👀🔥 I don’t see that crown being taken easily either, but you’re right — there are SO many promising GLs coming up that it feels like such a good time to be here. I’m also really excited for Moonshadow (EmiBonnie) and Enemies with Benefits (JanJingJing) — those both look like they’re going to wreck us emotionally. I love hearing how people actually fell into GL too. I have never seen Korean GL so I am very intrigued and will have to watch. Thank you for the recommendations. And the Thai GL rabbit hole is REAL 😭 once GAP gets you, suddenly you’re juggling multiple series at once and trying to keep up with life at the same time. Queendom will still be there when you’re ready — no shame in putting things on the back burner when real life gets busy. I love comments like this though, it’s so fun seeing everyone’s GL journey and how different paths all end up here 🥹💖
