besties… episode 5 may have tested my patience in a few places, but LenaMiu absolutely carried this episode on their backs 😭💖

because while there were definitely some plot choices and lines that had me staring at my screen like:

"...okay sure, let's go with that." 💀

the second Alin and Miu were together I immediately stopped caring.

their chemistry is just THAT good.

and can we PLEASE discuss jealous Alin for a second???

because I fear jealous Alin might actually be my favorite version of Alin 😭

the looks.the attitude.the quiet possessiveness.

miss girl was NOT having a good time and honestly neither was I because I was too busy screaming.

but what really got me this episode was how loving they were with each other.

there were so many little moments of them taking care of one another, worrying about each other, checking in on each other, and just generally being soft that I spent most of this episode smiling like an idiot.

it was genuinely adorable.

we need to talk about:

jealous Alin being an absolute gift to television 😭

the sweet moments that melted my heart

how much these two clearly care about each other

the chemistry that continues to save absolutely everything

and why LenaMiu have me in a complete chokehold

seriously, some couples have chemistry.

LenaMiu have CHEMISTRY.

at this point they could be standing in complete silence and I'd still be fully invested.

I think those who have had negative comments is due to the writing/editing of the show. As you said parts of the writing is strange. Most agree that the only reason they continued to watch is cuz of the chemistry between LenaMui. Remember too you have watched a hell of a lot of LenaMui and had a vested interest in them b4 watching MSZ whilst others watched it when it first aired.

BTW LenaMui second series will be much spicier particularly if it follows the novel. I really think you'll like the plot judging by your reaction to the teaser for ShellyPundao new series.

Ppl did not strongly dislike it, it was more like "ok the plot is bananas but lenamiu is addictive". I swear I waited anxiously for each episodes to be released even through I felt like the story wasn't the best

Yea this is where the story gets a little weird but its still entertaining lol. OMG can you imagine if she had gotten amnesia! That wouldve been messed up. Honestly surprised we havent seen that in a GL yet. This is like the one series where I barely see the characters... i just see Lena and Miu haha. Ohhh their second series is gonna be intense! Miu's character is an escort basically and Lena's character is some business woman and she basically "hates" Miu's character. Its gonna be wild.

Yeah, it’s their softness and gentleness towards each other that I think is the strongest pull to this series. Usually one partner is more gentle than the other, but in this, they are both gentle towards each other and it’s very sweet and addictive to watch, because it’s so warm. I really like the softer GL’s, they might not be very popular but they are a welcome tonic from the drama heavy and often very toxic (usually parents or some other characters that make the main protagonists life so unnecessarily hard), ones. It’s nice to get away from that for a bit. I will still watch the more serious, more action packed or intense GL’s but I won’t turn my nose up at the lighter ones. The only thing usually missing from the lighter ones, is they are usually (but not always) less intense with all of the scenes including the bedroom ones which can make the rest of the series feel like it’s missing some of the passion of the more popular series. It’s like when it’s hot and you wish for rain and when you have it, you wish for sunnier days, everything in moderation.

Yes I think their chemistry is seriously fantastic and the behind the scenes if even better, they should have just let them be themselves and shot it would have made a great show lol!

I think they are amazing, I love how sweet they are and it's a lovely plot in some ways. I found this to have some good drama, enough to keep me invested at least just wish the editing and pacing was a bit different.
