besties… things are officially STARTING TO HAPPEN and I am SAT 😭🔥

because episode 3 took everything I liked about this show and cranked it up several levels.

the drama is building.

the emotions are building.

the tension is building.

and I am becoming more invested with every episode.

BUT.

there is one thing I never expected to say...

why do I feel bad for Air's husband??? 😭💀

seriously.

what is happening to me?

since when have I been watching a GL and found myself feeling sympathy for the man involved???

this is not the journey I expected to be on.

and yet here we are.

because honestly?

the guy is in a rough situation.

do I want Air with him?

absolutely not.

am I still feeling bad for him?

somehow yes 😭

we need to talk about:🔥 the drama finally kicking into high gear💖 Shelly and why I remain completely obsessed👀 the moments that had me glued to the screen😭 Air's husband somehow earning my sympathy💀 and why I am confused by my own emotions right now

also can we discuss how this show is getting more addictive every week?

I started watching for the chemistry.

now I'm fully invested in everybody's mess.

and that's a dangerous place to be 😭

the characters are getting more complicated.

the stakes are getting higher.

and I need episode 4 immediately.

tell me besties...

am I the only one feeling bad for Air's husband or have I completely lost the plot?? 😭💀

let's spiral.

Yep, this was a great series and it's a shame it didn't get the support it deserved at the time of airing. Heart Code and Rollercoaster are probably my two favourite GLs.

As if Shelly could get cooler. I watched their vlog about her learning to drive a race car for fun. I'm sure there will be more videos of that as it was only 6 minutes, but I know how you are about women in racing jackets. 😂

I feel like Lamp is a really green flag - patient and kind, just unfortunate that he is in an unrequited relationship. Talking of his looks and his character, he reminds me of a Thai Henry Cavill. Woo-hoo, that ending in Pure’s room was just a taster - excuse the pun - of Loft and Pure’s magma hot scenes when Pure lets Loft into her heart, even if, as you said, it’s just on a trial basis at this moment. Pure is weighing up her years of love and devotion - and promises - with Air, against what Loft makes her feel (being with someone who wants you and makes you feel a freeing, joyful giddyness) vs the reality of what Air now can deliver, and her heart is driving her towards Loft whilst her head still hesitates, held back by her memories of what they once were and have for so long hoped they could be again. You note the first thing Loft said to Pure at the end of their conversation, “I miss you” - the one thing Pure couldn’t get Air to say out loud in the previous scene. I think that is synonymous of what they are respectively offering Pure right now.

idk if its just me being greedy but i would absolutely love to see Shelly and Thitisan (the actor who plays Henri) be another show or movie as siblings again. They have such a great sibling dynamic that I think would be great to see more often. also you bring up a good point with Lamp. while i dont like that he practically assaulted her in that scene and he was being very aggressive with her, its all of his frustrations boiling over and he's basically at his breaking point. in his mind, and rightfully so, he's never treated her as less than him in any way. he's very much treated her as an individual person who deserves love and respect. i think Air could definitely be nicer to him. Its obvious she will never love him and he truly understands that even though he hoped he could possibly replace Pure's place in Air's heart but he never can. For Air, I think since she struggles with dealing with the crappy situation she's kinda in too, she tends to lash out at the people around her (the people who genuinely care for her) as a way to cope with her mom situation. And i guess she doesn't actually believe that Lamp loves her but I dont think thats true, I think Lamp really does love her otherwise he wouldn't have wanted to marry her or even allow her to do some of the things she's doing like letting her work or letting her go out to see Pure on occasion (if we go by the evil/bad male character criteria in a thai GL). If he was truly a bad guy as Air puts it in that scene, she would be treated way worse. I've mentioned this before, but I think Lamp is genuinely one of the few male GL characters that I really like and just feel so bad for due to the situation he's in. Lamp and Loft are some of the greatest greenest flag characters we have in a thai GL.

Neko is so talented, i really need her to get her own GL. She plays Air so freaking well. I dont think that Air really meant to be "mean" to Lamp, i think she was just maybe a bit too blunt and honest and maybe doesnt want to give him hope that she'll have feelings for him and so it makes it seem mean. I also wonder if its partly because of Pure too. Like she doesnt want to give him any affection because her affection is reserved for Pure. But i believe shes always been upfront with him from the start. He knew exactly why she married him. They shoulve had this heart to heart conversation much sooner though. Lamp is def one of the only good dudes in a GL. And Loft is the absolute best! Girl has rizz for days haha.

OOOHHHH NO WAY!! Omg I may die

GlSpiral

I agree that it seems super underrated from what I have seen almost no ones talks about it.

GlSpiral

OMG YES HENRY CAVILL IS SUCH A GOOD COMPARISON!! Omg I am so excited for what is to come with the hot scenes lol! Yes I totally understand why Pure is still holding on somewhat as she has a history but it's just hard to reconcile it with constant disappointment.

GlSpiral

I agree with most of this. I'd absolutely watch another show with Shelly and Thitisan as siblings because their dynamic feels so natural and believable. As for Lamp, I can see both sides. I didn't like how aggressive he got in that scene, and I think he could have handled his emotions better. At the same time, I genuinely feel bad for him. He's spent the entire series loving someone who will never love him back in the same way, and that's a brutal situation to be in. Air is dealing with her own struggles, which explains a lot of her behavior, but I do think she could be a little kinder to his situation at times. That's why I find Lamp such an interesting character—he's not perfect, but he's also far from the villain some people make him out to be. Honestly, Lamp and his sister Loft are two of the biggest green flags we've seen in a Thai GL.

GlSpiral

Yes she really should have her own GL series at this point. I do think your right she maybe wasn't being intentionally mean but it comes off as a bit self centered and ignorant to her husband's feelings which in most cases I am fine with in GL, because I hate them men lol! However, in Lamp's case I actually like him so I feel a bit bad. LOVE LOVE LOFT SO MUCH!
