besties… quick update before we jump into the episode!

I actually filmed this reaction early last week because I knew this week was going to be absolute chaos thanks to a mountain of visa paperwork and appointments. 😭💀

Because of that, Rollercoaster is taking Shades' usual spot this week, and I'll be watching Shades on Friday instead!

Now...

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS EPISODE?!

Because WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL HAPPENED?!

I spent half the episode trying to process what I was watching, and by the end I was even more confused than when I started.

The biggest question I have is...

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?!

There are still TWO EPISODES LEFT, and I genuinely have no idea how this story is going to unfold.

we need to talk about:🎢 the twists that completely blindsided me😭 the moments that left me speechless👀 the questions I desperately need answered💖 the relationships I'm still rooting for💀 and why I have absolutely no clue what's coming next

This show keeps pulling the rug out from under me, and honestly... I'm loving every second of it.

Even though Pure admits she loves Loft, the issue is Air doesn't know the person is Loft (her sister). That's the issue in a nutshell!

Honestly, by this point in the show, I liked Air much more than Pure as a character. Neko did a great job at making us feel for Air as a character despite how clear the choice seemed previously.

If you love the OSTs you can watch all of them on the same YouTube channel. 🎤🎹🎶👌 Once you finish the series, don’t forget there are some deleted scenes that you really shouldn’t skip, on the same channel. 🎉 I think you already guessed it, that there there is going to be more drama before a resolution. I kind of get it, they didn’t want to rush it too quickly, once Air was finally in a position to make Pure choose, so that the whole build up to this point wasn’t anti-climactic but…I also understand it does feel a bit ridiculous that Pure is that unwilling to choose even though she knows her decision and Air has already accepted it and told her that, and then that Loft won’t pick up the phone and is trying to avoid her completely as she is convinced Pure has rejected her and just wants to cut her out of her life as she is feeling so much pain and anguish and thinks that’s the only way she can get over her (ordinarily she’s probably right but in this case, she’s got the wrong end of the stick). 😮‍💨 FYI I was thinking exactly the same as you in that scene with Loft’s secretary / assistant - that Loft was going to majorly mess up thinking she was now single and hurting and then ruin things with Air, or Air would see a largely innocent scene but misconstrue what she saw, and was on tenterhooks the whole scene, waiting for the other shoe to drop. 😱🙏😅 I was also of like minds, screaming at the screen at Pure’s decision not to leave a clearer voice msg for Loft on her phone, so that she would give Loft hope and make her pick up the phone, when she could probably guess what Loft was feeling and going through, in the absence of Pure telling her that she loved her and chose her. 😤

*ruin things with Pure, or Pure would see a largely innocent scene but misconstrue what she saw… (sorry I tried to edit it but frustratingly Patreon doesn’t seem to let me see most of the comment box if it’s too long, so I can’t edit further down in my own comment). Aaaagggghhhh!

Girl im right with you! I was SO MAD when Pure was like yea, come on over! Bitch what? Yall couldnt meet up later? Like damn... that was so fucked up. This episode made me truly love Air as a character though. Like even though she wanted to be with Pure, she could tell that Pure wanted the other person and she just wanted her to be happy. And i think she actually helped Pure realize her own feelings as well. I want to see Neko in another gl SO BAD! She did such an amazing job as Air. I was def yelling at the end of this episode! ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE LOFT! WTF PURE! WHY DIDNT YOU SAY YOU LOVE HER! SHE WOULDVE ANSWERED RIGHT AWAY! UGH! lol. I wouldnt say this has a bad ending... it was just weird and felt kinda chopy. Like they shouldve shot it a little differently. Made it a bit confusing honestly.

Yeah I think Pure its hard because she is the one going back and forth and I feel like those characters are always frustrating.

YES THIS WAS SO FUCKED UP!! Who does shit like this when she confessed her love to you literally the night before, it was messed up. Yes totally agree Pure was very likable especially in this part, she knew she wasn't who Air wanted and she accepted it and helped her realize her own feelings. Also YESSS YESSS OMG!!! Why that message, tell her in a text she is ignoring you, I mean drive your ass down there wtf.

I am so scared for what is to come, but I absolutely agree with you she should have left a clearer message for Loft so that Loft knew she wasn't calling because she was lonely or just to break her heart further.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate lol. Pure didn't want to leave a message for Loft, she wanted to physically speak with her. I'm sure y'all have read a text message at some point and come to a totally different conclusion than what the sender intended, even with close family lol.
