besties… EMIBONNIE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?! 😭🔥

We are only THREE episodes into Moonshadow, and I genuinely don't know if I'm going to survive this entire series because...

THE CHEMISTRY?!

DAMN.

Every single interaction between these two has me locked onto the screen. The tension, the looks, the flirting, the way they play off each other—it just WORKS.

And somehow Episode 3 managed to turn it up even MORE.

I knew from the trailer that Moonshadow looked like it was going to be dramatic, messy, sexy and a little toxic...

But I wasn't prepared for EmiBonnie to chemistry me into an early grave. 💀😂

Bonnie's rizz continues to shock the absolute hell out of me, Emi is serving EVERYTHING, and together?!

I AM UNWELL.

The dangerous part is that I'm actually invested in the story too, so I can't even pretend I'm just here staring respectfully. 😂 The plot has me hooked, the dynamics are getting increasingly interesting, and I have absolutely no idea how messy this is going to become.

Three episodes in and Moonshadow has my FULL attention.

If EmiBonnie are already doing this to me now...

WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY GOING TO DO TO ME LATER?! 😭🔥

Let's spiral. 💖

I'm desperate to know Key's backstory cause girl.. what on earth happened that you'll settle with being a backburner?

Coyote Ugly mentioned! Lol, "Can't Fight the Moonlight" is definitely my favourite song from LeAnn Rimes. Anyway, Film is rocking this role with Jay. This series is so good, and those flashbacks? This is what flashbacks should be—not like the PowerPoint presentation we saw in GR. They gave more backstory within those three minutes than what was given to PrimBambi in GR. Also, I noticed that you mentioned Bonnie is too young a few times. She's actually older than Jayna, though! Bonnie was born in 2004 and Jayna in 2006. Perhaps it's her features or vibes that made you think Bonnie is so young? Which is understandable, since Jayna has more mature features being mixed-race.

20:33 I think Bonnie was more talking about herself. She's accepting Emi's terms to be with her although she doesn't like it.

Okay bestie.....it is my favorite too. You have good taste. ALSO YES FILM IS ABSOLUTE FIRE IN THIS SERIES! Sorry for screaming. I agree I think GR was honestly just lazy during the entire series. Yes but Jayna is too young as well lol! Difference is I went into Poisonous love not knowing her age lol!

GlSpiral

Ohhh that could make sense still not a great way to start any relationship

Dude i had LeAnn Rimes stuck in my head all week simply from the title of the episode LOL. Might need to watch Cayote Ugly again soon. Bruh! I knew Jay would see them together... but i did NOT expect her to just walk right into Chan's condo. Like wtf girl lol. BOUNDARIES! haha. I also couldnt believe they were literally high school sweethearts, all happy and in love, and then Jay just disappears.... AND Chan was gonna propose? OUCH! Id have been devastated too damn. I did read the novel for this, so i understand the Key and Chan backstory. But i dont know whats up with the mother so im def interested in finding that out! All i can think is maybe she committed suicide and Key blames herself for some reason? Idk. Also, in the novel the step mommy was a total bitch and she doesnt seem to be in this series so they def changed a bunch of Key's backstory.

OMG!!! Coyote Ugly watch party asap!! That movie is fucking gay lmao!! I love it so so much. LIKE DAMN SHE JUST UP AND LEFT!! Then she just straight up fucking left. Oh damn interesting how different the novel is in then!!

GLadlyASH

That an amazing idea! It really is the gayest movie that's not even gay 😂

An interesting bit of backstory (from the TV series adaptation of the story before this one, My Only Sunshine), Peach (Key’s sister, the famous photographer), is dating the sister of Sun’s girlfriend. It will be interesting to see if we get to see if Peach (played by Jamie here), has a girlfriend and who is playing her in this GMMTV adaptation of the follow up story, Moonshadow.

Re the dialogue, I’m never quite sure if that’s a translation thing, or where a passage of dialogue from the novel doesn’t quite work in a script the same way it does on the page of a book, or sometimes it can be the actor’s delivery of a line that just doesn’t convey the meaning very clearly. I usually assume it’s more of a translation from Thai to English issue where certain phrases or idioms don’t easily translate and so certain speeches don’t sound quite right, as in English it wouldn’t be spoken in quite that word order, or using language that sounds a little archaic, etc.
