And after the infamous “exchange of oral fluids” moment earlier in the series, I really thought AI Girl had already shown me what kind of show we were dealing with.

But beyond THAT SCENE—and yes, we all know exactly what I'm talking about—I am genuinely so ridiculously invested in this story now.

What started as me thinking, “How the hell are you going to make me care about a human/robot romance?” has somehow turned into me being completely emotionally attached to these characters.

It's hilarious.

It's weird.

It's sweet.
