Title:

4 ELEMENTS: FIRE FINALE 😭πŸ”₯ I ACTUALLY LOVED THE ENDING!! BUT AUNTIE PISSED ME OFF ONE LAST TIME πŸ’€

Description:

BESTIES… I FINALLY FINISHED FIRE!!! 😭πŸ”₯

We have officially reached the finale of 4 Elements: Fire, and after EVERYTHING this series has put me through, I can actually say:

I REALLY LIKED THE ENDING?! πŸ˜πŸ’–

Was I expecting to spend approximately the first HOUR wanting to fight Auntie for what feels like the 900th time?

Absolutely.

Because apparently this woman could NOT let us reach the finale without getting on my last damn nerve ONE. FINAL. TIME. πŸ’€

AUNTIE.

WE ARE AT THE END.

CAN YOU PLEASE JUST LET THESE WOMEN LIVE?!

I swear every time I thought we were finally moving forward, Auntie would appear and immediately raise my blood pressure again. πŸ˜‚

But somehow, after all of that frustration, the finale actually brought things together in a way that worked for me.

And I’m SO happy about that because Fire has been a JOURNEY.

There were episodes where I was completely invested.

There were episodes where I was frustrated.

There were moments where I wanted to shake half the characters.

And there were approximately 47,000 moments where Auntie had me contemplating violence against my television.πŸ˜πŸ’€

But these last few episodes really pulled me back in, and getting an ending that left me genuinely satisfied made the journey feel worth it.

Most importantly, I really loved our central couple. Their chemistry and their relationship kept me invested even when everything surrounding them was driving me absolutely INSANE.

And now it’s actually OVER?! πŸ₯Ή

It always feels strange finishing another GL because we spend weeks watching these characters, screaming about their decisions, getting attached to them, threatening their relatives…

And suddenlyβ€”

THAT’S IT.

So yes, Fire frustrated the absolute HELL out of me sometimes.

Yes, Auntie remained my personal enemy until practically the closing credits.

But ultimately?

I’M HAPPY. I LIKED THE ENDING. AND I’M REALLY GLAD I FINISHED IT. πŸ’–πŸ”₯

Now I need to know what YOU thought!

Did the finale stick the landing for you?

And PLEASE tell me I wasn’t the only person spending that first hour thinking:

β€œAUNTIE, I SWEAR TO GOD, WE HAVE ONE EPISODE LEFT. DO NOT START WITH ME.” πŸ˜‚πŸ’€

Let’s spiral. πŸ’–

Hey Kelly, were you still going to show the video you took at the 4 Elements get together. You were going to give us your views on the performances. I loved Namneung's cover of Playing With Fire.

Did you know that dance scene with the cousins was also a surprise birthday celebration for Engfa?

I liked Earth the best probably cuz of the plot, the cousins and AppleMim's unexpected performances. The plot of Air is probably 2nd but (don't shoot me) I found the 'slow burn' romance fizzled me out and the action scenes were terrible. Renee as Grace was brilliant. As a biased Englot fan, I thought both main roles in Water suited them down to the ground. I agree that the length of time it took for them to get back together put a dent in the series' enjoyment, but having read the book, I understood the reasons behind why Lada kept 'rejecting' Nam. As for Fire, I thought the book had more tension and drama other than the constant fighting between Fai and Phrao. What saved these episodes was the backstories which broke up the bickering and kept the interest going. So, Water probably just scrapes in 2nd for me with Fire and Air on a par. Overall, imo the interaction between the cousins was the highlight of 4 Elements.
