No time for an elaborate post with time-consuming commentary today, so here's a quartet of Bubblegum Crisis con sketches from 2002 (medium-contrast pencil on linen-finish cardstock) and 2006 (Sharpie marker on Bristol board) hastily scavenged from my hard drive. Enjoy? Yes, enjoy, dagnabbit!

MONDAY ON THIS HERE PATREON: Another double shot of life drawings, as usual.

My boyfriend asked me to donate just so he could see these. Thanks for the treat

Any way I could purchase these from you?

Alas, these were all sold to the same patron—now, an actual Patron!—years and years ago.

Ah, well I'm glad they went to a good home. I'd love to purchase any other BGC or Dirty Pair ones you find lying around. :D

Nice works as usual...

How far back does the dark Sharpie style go? Were there examples before this?

Not as commissions as such, but I’ve been futzing around with occasional attempts at “harsh B&W” rendering schemes since, jeez, high school and art school.
