August Update! (Patreon)

Hey guys, not sure how long it's been since I updated you all on the state of things here at Fanter J Fane incorporated. So I guess I'm making an update post to get you guys up to speed.

Last month was a bit of a clusterfuck, to put it bluntly. I kinda spiralled into a depression mainly because of some phone troubles I had that threatened to make me lose 1000$. Luckily, I resolved it. There are other reasons I became depressed, but most of those are a lot more personal. I ended up taking some mental health breaks that cost me a lot of drawing time.

However, this month, is also being a bit of a clusterfuck. My family, specifically my sister and her husband and kids, are having a really rough time of things. My 4 year old nephew is autistic, and on the very hard to manage side. The other day, he put his hand through a window, cutting up his finger. Needless to say, the family is in a bit of a crisis just before school starts. I've been having to take time off of drawing just to help them.

On top of all of that, I'm FINALLY going to be moving to a new place next week, so that's even more time that I won't have to draw. It's been a move that's long been coming, since my mother and I are moving out of my mold-ridden childhood home that's falling apart around us. We're getting internet set up this weekend, so I should be able to move in at any point next week.

All of that being said, actual art updates: I'm STILL working on the first two sequences in the commission queue. One is at the shading stage and the other is halfway inked. I've got a lot of art trades I've not even started on, and there's also the issue of the entire pinup queue. So, I've got a lot of work to do, and not much time to do it. I've also gotta balance my mental health at the same time, since if I push myself now I'm likely to fall into another spiral.

TL;DR: Fanter is having le troubles and art will be slower for a bit.
