September Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Time for another update!

So, last month was a bit of a clusterfuck. Again. I underestimated all of the effects moving would have on my work ethic and mental state. The condo I've moved into is by all accounts better than mold house, but living alone for the first time ever was not something I really accounted for.

The condo, that I've yet to make a name for like the mold house, is fantastic! I love it here! There's no mold, there's lots of places to get food, there's a pool, there's a park, there's nice grocery stores, etc etc. The main thing I've found that I enjoy the most is the front porch at night. At mold house it was the middle of the woods, so seeing streetlights at night is strangely novel to me.

That's all well and good, but... I'm discovering that it's really easy to get stir crazy when you live alone. I've been stuck in my own head basically this entire time even though I've been on VC a lot. Turns out VC isn't as good as actually physically hanging out with someone, who knew? XD

My sleep schedule has gotten to be even worse of a problem, now that I don't even have my mom here to make me feel guilty about it. I got up at 9:30 PM yesterday... sheeeeeesh... I've decided that once I get it back on track this week I'm actually gonna start setting alarms to get myself on a coherent sleep schedule.

As a result of these and other reasons, I've been having a lot of mental struggles lately. I've not even really reached any coherent catharsis on any of it either... Which sucks but, I'll get over it! It's a part of life after all, the good and the bad.

Work however, is going pretty well! I struggled getting back to work after the move, but I'm getting back into the swing of things now. I'm very happy with how the Crimvael piece is going, it should be done soon! I've also been experimenting with changing my art style a bit, let me know what you think!

As for the Patreon poll, I'm not sure I'll be doing one this month. I think this month I'm gonna focus on just getting commissions done, considering how much time I lost to work on them over the past two months. I'm sure that the commissioners aren't too happy about that lol. It also doesn't help that the first two commissions in the sequence queue are HUMONGOUS.
