Overview

Edit an image using text? Well, if you haven't tried Qwen Image Edit yet, then perhaps now is a good time?

It works great in ComfyUI with the massive model available as FP8 (if you've got 24GB+) as well as various quants being made right now going down to around 8GB.

Qwen provide images with prompt examples, but here is the text for a much easier copy&paste experience!

Prompt examples

Qwen-Image-Edit can not only rotate objects by 90 degrees, but also perform a full 180-degree rotation

Change the text on the sign from 'X' to 'Y'

Replace the X with a Y

Replace the word inside the red bounding-box to 'X'. Only modify the word inside the box - everything else remains unmodified.

Workflow

The attached workflow is the one used in the video, and includes a simple "HiRes Fix" option, which I found can add a little extra detail when upscaling.
