The Elaine Campione story just always gets to me. I’m sympathetic to her children and the issues at hand, but it’s always that one part of the home movie where she immediately and tonally ambushes it with her delusions, and you already know what’s coming. Those poor children. They didn’t deserve that, or everything leading up to it.
