A Difficult Spirit to Capture 🍃✨ Pocahontas is Here! (Patreon)

Hi everyone! 💚

The commissioned Pocahontas set is now complete, and I’m finally ready to share it with you all 🌿

I want to be honest from the beginning: this set was fun to work on, but it was also a real challenge. For those of you who are familiar with AI image generation, you probably already know what LoRAs are. In my case, I usually do not use character LoRAs, and that applies not only to this set, but also to my previous works.

The reason is simple. They tend to change my established style too much, and maintaining that style is something that has taken a lot of effort to build over time 🎨

So with Pocahontas, the challenge was very clear: Trying to make her look recognizable while still preserving the visual identity that defines my work.

My honest thoughts 💭

To be completely honest, I’m not fully satisfied with the final result. This is one of those characters that really pushes that balance between:

Recognizable character features.

Personal artistic style.

Visual consistency across a set.

Even so, I still decided to publish it here because this is a commission I owed to one of my subscribers, and I always want to respect that commitment 🤍

Not every set feels perfect. But every set says something about the process, the effort behind it, and the direction I want to keep following.

A challenge I want to revisit 🔥

What I do know for sure is this: this will not be my last attempt at Pocahontas. At some point in the future, I want to make another Pocahontas set. Not because it is a commission, but because I want to challenge myself again and do better. I want to come back to this character with a fresh approach, push myself further, and create a version that feels closer to what I truly want to achieve ✨

So in a way, this post is both the end of a commission and the beginning of a personal goal.
