Tier 1 important update (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

So I've been kind of meaning to do this for months now but I always felt bad having to do it. As someone living paycheck to paycheck so to speak, I'm a firm believer that even $1 helps. But the thing about Patreon and/or Paypal is that the $1 I get from you guys is mostly chipped away by fees, leaving me with just a tiny percentage of that single dollar.

Many other creators have said the same and updated their small tiers to at least $2, but I've been on the fence since I have precious little as it is and don't want to chase away patrons. But after seeing more and more creators follow the above example, I feel like I ought to as well.

So, come April I will update tier 1 to $2 instead. I don't intend on raising it any higher after that, so don't worry about it gradually getting higher or something, this is just to accommodate for the fees. You'll have today and tomorrow to figure out what you want to do moving forward.

If you can't go higher and would like to keep your $1 tier as a tip jar, you may! You won't receive any rewards or be eligible for discounts but you'll still be able to support me.

Thank you as always for your generosity and if you at any point feel you don't want to or can't pledge to me anymore I am still grateful!

(To make up for the change, I will be increasing the discount codes to 15%)
