Recent Patreon Error (Patreon)

Hello, everyone

Some of you may have heard, or noticed, that Patreon had some issues during payouts. This was due to them changing their billing location from California to Ireland without warning, resulting in many banks declining charges or marking them as fraud.

Please make sure to double check your pledge as well as your charge, as some patrons may have been kicked entirely or their payments marked as invalid.

If yours was declined, I've been tasked by Patreon to give you the following information:

1. Contact your card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card.

2. If the retry does not work, try a different payment method. Patrons can edit their payments in their Settings, under Billing History.

Also check to make sure you didn't in fact get charged several times, as there was an issue causing me to receive duplicate funds. I've been actively contacting Patreon, Payoneer and my bank about this issue and so if you find that you've been overcharged, I am unable to solve this until Patreon provides me with a way to return the funds.
