February Monthly Poll: Women of Mecha (Patreon)

Howdy!

This time around I'm going to change up how I approach polls just a tiny bit, going forward I'm going to have them posted on the first of the month, and run for a week. This will give me more adequate time to draw the winner so it's not coming down to the eleventh hour. I will also heavily refrain from mentioning who my favourite is to avoid any potential conflicts of interest.

For this month I've chosen a small assortment of women from various iconic mecha anime across the decades. A couple of which are from shows I haven't entirely watched myself or at all, but am well aware of due to cultural osmosis. The absence of girls from Evangelion might stick out to some, but that is simply because they are too overpowered. I will definitely consider doing a dedicated EVA poll in the future though.

And now for February's lineup!

-Yoko Littner, Gurren Lagann: Gainax's 2nd most popular redhead.

-Matoko Kusanagi, Ghost in The Shell: 2B for boomers

-Noriko Takaya, Gunbuster: Patient zero for jiggle physics in anime

-Kallen Stadfeld, Code Geass: Card games on motorcy-wait.

If you're unfamiliar with any of them, watch more anime BUT ALSO just vote for you think looks the most appealing.

The poll will run from February 1st 1PM EST to February 8th 1PM EST.
