April Poll: Literally Who?? (Patreon)

"Squish when you gonna draw Samus!? When you gonna draw 2B!? When you gonna draw Yor!?" All in due time my friend...

...HOWEVER!

This month's theme is going to be a little different, rather than adhere to a clear cut concept like a specific genre or IP we're gonna scrape the bottom of the barrel. Characters barely anyone has heard of, let alone gets fanart, let alone our 'specific niche'. Odds are you aren't going to be familiar with these choices in any capacity, so I'll provide a quick summary of each and honestly, just go with whoever you find most appealing be it for their design or vibe.

Here's the lineup!

Zobiko, The Loving Deads: House of the Dead EX. The heroine and Player 2 character from a little known spinoff of The House of The Dead, rather than being based around shooting enemies it's like a sort of minigame gauntlet ala Wario Ware or Point Blank. She's a 'creature' (zombies don't exist in HoTD) created by Dr. Curien but rejected for her disobedience. She was also featured in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing.

Cybersix, uhhh Cybersix. The protagonist of the titular series. A Canadian produced, Japanese animated show based off a comic from Argentina. Basically a test tube superhuman woman who wears a slick totally 90s outfit and daylights in reverse drag as a male highschool teacher.

Aki, Ape Escape 3. Aki is a support character from Ape Escape 3, while not the most niche IP here there's little to no art of her online as far as I can tell. A distinct memory of mine was renting the game when I was 10, having my dad walk in and see her; to which he said "She's hot." Take that as you will.

Kelly O'Lenmey, Gunvalkyrie. An obscure original Xbox exclusive developed by SEGA and Smilebit. An interesting game where you zoom around and zap giant bugs, but fairly difficult to control. Can't really say anything about her personality but her design is cool and would suit itself well to our interests.

This time around I'll be conducting the poll a little differently. I'll have the poll run for two weeks, between 12:00PM April 1st and 12:00PM April 15th. I feel this will provide more opportunity for new Patrons to cast a vote without having to wait too long to take advantage of that tier perk. The monthly illustration scheduled for the middle of the month will also be following this theme, although there's a good chance you may have seen her if you've spent any time on the more informative side of the internet. Oh yeah, April Fools ;^)
