On the Subject of Reward Tier Drawings (Patreon)
Content
(Updated on 27 April to reflect the new changes for clarity and simplicity)
Here's a longer, more complete explanation of how the Chocolate Sculpture tier drawings work, and how you can get them finished if you elect to get them done as lineart.
What Your Reward Gets You
$30 of commission credit, and what's that worth?
A one-character full-body picture -- either as lineart for a fully shaded picture (this is the choice for if you intend on getting it fully shaded and finished later on) or in my "Colored Sketch" or "Small Storybook" style (examples linked below).
I am flexible on the one-character limit-- doing less than full body (from the waist-up, for example) is an example of how I'd be willing to work with you to fit in more characters. Don't hesitate to ask; I can work with you to figure things out!
(Also, for these Patreon sketches, you can include one of my characters at no extra charge if I like the idea. Just an extra small Patreon perk for you guys~)
Getting Lineart Finished Later
You have two main options for getting your Patreon reward drawing turned into a more complex drawing: paying to have it completed, or using next month's reward to finish it.
The first option is usually the quickest, you'll pay the price to have your commission finished as one of my regular commissions (after applying your 10% discount and the $30 Patreon credit), and get to jump ahead in the queue to have it finished. At the time of writing, a fully rednered one-character commission would normally go for $60, but after the discounts are applied, you would only be paying another $24 to have a typical Patreon reward completed. (This can be lower or higher depending on the complexity of coloring in the idea-- we will discuss this on a case-by-case basis)
The second option is to use your next month's reward to finish it. In this case, we'd wait until the next month's Patreon reward stream to finish your picture. That would be what you get instead of a new art piece that month. In the case that it's just nearly enough to pay, we'll just round up and say that you've got the whole thing covered by Patreon.
And that's the long version of how the reward drawings work! As usual, my regular terms and conditions for commissions apply. And feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
