What's better than a dragon? A truly thicc dragon in a tight dress.

Im so glad I suggested this and that the voters picked her!!! This is truly dope work!!! 😭 You went above and beyond expectations too! I can't wait to see the sketch previews and the final work! Thank you!

Patacon

Mfw i forgot to add her tongue and those things hanging on her chin

Patacon

Thanks for the sugestion Lotammi, it was a blast draw her so far,her design Is so good i just wanted to make her justice, tho i rushed the dress cos i wanted to get it done by that time,so ill rework that. Im curious about the far anf beyond , would like to know what you liked most of this to take it into consideration for future drawings

Patacon

That is just the best, thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. To be honest, you nailed this from shape langauge to pose and expression. And I don't even mind the simplicity of the dress! The piping around the rim of the dress where it meets her breasts is a particularly dope inclusion though. I know it's small, but I like little things like that, which makes the art feel practical or pop a bit. I can say the same for a lot of the small details you added to her that made her feel like a cross between her feral and human self, yet it feel very new. I dont know how to put it exactly into words, but I haven't ever seen it done this well with Maleficent. I know a lot of things are nature of the sketch, so the only issue I have with the dress is the lack of contrast against her body, but again... I know that is the case with a sketch, and to me it is still a really good design. Also, I am in love with how you made her entire form. The thickness of her body, the way it tapers up towards her head... 😭 She feels so dark souls!!! I JUST LOVE IT! Anyway, I hope that didn't sound crazy or it wasn't too much. I tried to abridge my thoughts. I'm just lucky to be here. 😊

Hey its fine, this is more than welcome, yeah i knew the contrast to her dress is little to zero, im actualy reworking it, made a LOT of changes, scrapping, circling back to some bits, and this i what i got so far imgur.com/a/APWJ3mF also attached theres a pic of kalameet i did a year ago, tho i cringe with the propotions, mostly cos shes more leg than anyhting, theres still bit s i like, and i get what you mean with dark souls vibes i think
