Heavenly Delusion (Tengoku Daimakyo)… why isn’t this masterpiece talked about more?

I’m taking a small detour from my usual roadmap here: No ecchi or erotic manga this time (well a bit NTR...). There are some scenes with a certain sensuality, but here, I really push the boundaries of what’s implied between the lines…

The scene of Kiruko’s assault by Robin is, to me, fascinating. Because it’s heartbreaking, yet still ambiguous.

Of course, I would never go into victim blaming or side with Robin. But there’s a sort of parallel interpretation where Kiruko’s feelings for him help explain what happens. To me, she’s in love with Robin. And although he ties her up at first, it’s worth noting that she isn’t anymore afterward, and this goes on for several days. Her feelings, refusing to believe that the man she loves is actually a monster, blend with desire and surrender, while Maru feels abandoned and sick with worry, and what he feared most is actually happening.

So in this alternate interpretation, Kiruko completely gives herself over to Robin and lives through a few days of intense, overwhelming "sensations"… But Maru eventually comes to rescue her, and only then does she realize what she’s done to him.... But by then, it’s too late for regret.

I really thought big with this one and wanted to make a short film. The idea is: “what if episode 12 was done in the style of Mezzo Forte?” I definitely overestimated my skills here, but I still believe it’s only a matter of time before I can create exactly what I have in mind.
