It's like the man himself said - love's in need of a full reaction to Songs In The Key Of Life today.

Following my new DDD on Stevie Wonder is my first time listening to his landmark album. This was a fun time! So many fun moments on this album, this was a real blast. I hope you enjoy it as a lil bonus along with the DDD.

(This vid is also on Nebula in case you're also a subscriber over there, and the YT version of the DDD will be out very soon!)

Really enjoyed the DDD, and it's definitely pushed me to go and finally start listening to Stevie's albums, and I will... eventually lol.

The guitar work on Contusion was by Michael Sembello, who worked with Wonder as the lead guitarist for the whole album. Also, he went on to have a #1 hit with "Maniac" from the Flashdance soundtrack

Having to get over my inherent distrust of somebody who's never heard this album lol

Not sure if this is the case for the multi-lingual songs here too, but for Bird of Beauty's Portuguese lines, bc Stevie can't read lyrics but also doesn't know Portuguese, they had somebody in-studio dictating the words to Stevie through an ear peace and Stevie would just repeat them like a millisecond later while recording the song. Portuguese lyrics translated and co-written by Sergio Mendes, too

I had your "Pastime Paradise" moment when listening to "Do I Do" and I immediately realized I'd heard it before in a Ja Rule song when I was in high school.
