The original sketch was pretty vague on the design for Kaz's teammate. When I got to the clean pass sketch, I was thinking, what would be a cool, futuristic hairstyle that's different than what the two boys are rocking? I thought of Afropunk fashion, and found a great reference that I used for Kira's hair. I definitely want her to make another appearance - she has a fun design for sure.
