Dev news : SkoMC is right on track (Patreon)

I made some progress with SkoMC (Swiss Knife o'MineCraft) with regards to conversions and UI. My goal is to have an app that's easy and fast to convert from<>to most formats (file/edition as well as PBR/material).
I improved/fixed the Regex for auto-naming. Now it's possible to specify where to display the output format (or even not display it altogether). I also redesigned some elements a bit, adding group boxes and whatnot. You see there's a new box there too...

...SkoMC can now take advantage of icons for the output packs. A thumbnails is displayed in the first column (note that this layout is subject to change. I'll explain further)

double clicking icons will cause a popup to appear :

Same with the thumbnails in the top right view. Those can now be displayed in original size in the same popup:

For the next things I'd like to do, from the top of my head :
- Using a better layout for the conversions: a container where you can add "jobs" - you will be able to edit those jobs afterwards of course.
- A better preview panel with controls to load next/previous textures, keyboard controls, ...
- A template manager, where you can create presets with predefined resolutions, output icons, naming schemes, ...
- Conversions to/from MCPE packs
- Auto-generate some stuff for conversions that would lack some properties. For example, say you'd like to convert from OldPBR to LabPBR. If OldPBR doesn't feature baked-in AO you'd be able to generate proper AO from the heightmap. In some extreme cases you could even generate the normals/heightmaps (those features already exist within VanillaHDPBR generator after all!)
- Maybe a new, heavily simplified UI for a free version? That option is currently being investigated/under review.
Stay tuned for more info on SkoMC in the coming weeks. I'd like to release a somewhat functional version (albeit with fewer features probably) to Diamond patrons in the near future. Please note that VanillaHDPBR doesn't have new features yet.
