4 pages this week, because this scene is slow and not much is happening and I didn't want to stretch it out over two weeks. But that's also the reason I was a bit late. 💦

I already hinted at a wedding about to happen! As a reminder: "Daniel" is the name of Zockls older brother. :)

Have you moved out from "home"? And if so, how long did it take to feel "at home" in your new place and what helped to get there?

Ragazza!

When I first moved out it took months to feel at home. It felt like I was house sitting. Paying those bills, buying my own things to make this place feel like home, made me realize I finally have my own place!

I still live with my parents (RENT in the US is an arm and a leg). But in order to get acclimated with a new job or a new space, I try to bring some part of me there. For example, at my job I have plants and superhero action figures so when people pass by, they can get a piece of who I am :)

I moved out of my parents place with 19, into a dorm. Didn't feel like home but like my own place. Switched dorms and later lived with three other people in a flat before moving in with my boyfriend. We lived together for 6 years and that flat felt like home. Moved towns half a year ago because he went abroad. Slowly my new place feels like home again, even without him here.
