What happened this week:I finished writing the rough outline for the next three chapters! Always scared it’s “too boring”, now that they are officially an item. I personally think this is where it gets interesting and looove exploring relationships and their problems but I always wonder if others are as interested in that as me.

And I was researching Games: Watching Let’s Plays and collecting Screenshots of Micro Mages (I was able to testplay it once and it reminded me a lot of Towerfall, an all time fave of mine!), getting my partner to play Dark Souls 3 for me so I can watch a specific fight (someone is going to suffer!), asked a friend who is obsessed with Stardew Valley to tell me all about it (since I never played it myself) and playing lots of Minecraft (I watched a lot of LPs like 10 years back but never actually played myself - now my friends and I started a server together and I loooove building! The mobs still scare me so bad, though.)Designing Flix and Zockls avatars for the different games is always so much fun for me! But I know I will haaaate drawing Dark Souls armor and blocky Minecraft characters… But I bet Stardew Valley is going to be fun!

I also went on a weekend trip to Bremen (only an hour away from Hamburg), mainly to visit the science museum there (it’s so cool!) and to have a nice little getaway with my partner. I didn’t take many pictures but damn, the part of the city we stayed at has such cute and pretty houses!? I need to go back and take so many reference pictures.

It’s finally getting sunny here! That makes my stupid little walks for my stupid mental health so much more enjoyable (that and a good audio book - I started listening to the Silo trilogy and like it a lot). The sun staying up longer and a clear blue sky makes everything that’s going on in the world a bit better.

Next week I hope to finish writing the dialogue for the next chapter so I can send it to friends for feedback. And I hope that the creation of our new character will reveal to me how to write his parts. Exciting! :D

What are you looking forward to in the coming week?

DEUTSCH …………………….

Super aufregend! :D

Worauf freust Du dich in der nächsten Woche so?

If you want to make the dark souls player really suffer just don't give him armour :,D Easier to draw and an extra challenge for the masochist.

I LOVE when stories explore into the actual relationship. It feels so relevant and real, yes, the build up is exciting, but the growth, the strength, the support of a couple isn't a switch, those moments of caring and learning about each other are so fun and envy-able. For what I've been up to, my partner and I have a Valentine's Day tradition to play a video game together. We started it as our "singles awareness" keep me company while all those couples are doing their thing. Now 14 years later we still love how it makes us stop our individual things, pick something we have to do together and just enjoy each other's company. Sometimes the games are short, sometimes, like this time, we are still playing it weeks later cause it's just too good. So we played core keeper this year. Cute. But there are some fun co-op puzzle games that really make you practice communication and patience. "We were here" series, portal, it takes two, etc. I would highly recommend all couples do this lol

Oh! Stardew avatars would be fun as hell. One of my favorite things in this comic is how video games are woven into the story itself, and I recently finished playing Stardew Valley, so I am very curious. As for what I'm looking forward to, it will be nice to not have snow any more. (This year, we've had an accumulated 2 metres of snow.) ❄️❄️

Personally I always find it so sad in romance centric stories when the main couple gets together and we never get to see the payoff. I want to see the mains in the relationship we’ve been rooting for this whole time!! Romantic relationships have so much potential to be interesting to read about, so I was very exited when Felix and Tobi got together so “quickly” in Zocker.
