Oops. I totally forgot last week's update. So here are 6 pages this time! I am living in a weird crunch time limbus right now and often don't know which week day it is. Just a couple more weeks and I will be free! And I'm still having fun, even though my body craves more movement than it's currently getting. GASP!QUEER PEOPLE KISSING!? HOW DARE THEY!?Zockl and Flix aren't showing their affection in public and since Zockl doesn't have many friends (in the queer community) he's probably not used to seeing other queer couples being close to each other. I have notes laying around for a bonus chapter for a flashback to when Zockl told Rona about Flix for the first time. I think after the cat was out of the bag he became a nervous wreck and asked her for advice a lot. I'm sure his "I wasn't like this with Flix!" line of thinking isn't completely true. Special crisps and ice tea. :) ♥

At least Rona's aware that she's coming on strong. I think I'd feel awkward too if people were getting some serious PDA in whilst I was basically a captive observer.

I really appreciate the representation of the challenge of respectfully managing quality time with friends when theres new relationship energy. I'd never give my friends a hard time for being zoned in on their new partner but I wouldn't force myself to remain in the third wheel position if I wasn't given the opportunity to opt in

I wonder (and it’s late where I am, so it could’ve just slipped my mind if it’s already been mentioned) if Rona has ADHD. It feels like it, and telling the difference between hyperfixating on a person and genuine feelings is so hard. The way she says that all her thoughts etc. and every interaction we’ve had with her lately makes me wonder if, while Zockl is definitely being a jealous friend, and the “you mean obsession” line was a bit rude, but points to that, too. It could be interesting to follow their friendship in the inevitable Kai-romance-exit in this scenario, but it would also be really interesting to see him navigate trying to account friend has genuine feelings and try to be more patient. Rona’s behavior is awful no matter which way you look at it, but if she wasn’t hyperfixating I can see Zockl being able to be more patient than he currently is, where it seems he’s under the impression Kai is a hyperfixation that negatively disrupts his life temporarily

I kinda feel for Kai cause it’s not their fault that Rona is kinda obsessed and causing problems in her other friendship because of it. It seems like they’re kind of aware they’re intruding - I hope Tobi can eventually communicate this without exploding and lashing out 😬 Making out when ur friend is in the other room waiting is pretty rude tho ngl

Zockl needs to learn how to enforce boundaries, and Rona needs to read the room. Girl! She didn't apologize to Zockl for bringing Kai uninvited along, it was Kai who had to "apologize" (she didn't exactly say sorry but she did bring it up that she was uninvited) FOR her! What is it with these people and not knowing how to be accountable for things?!
