Content note:Zockls thoughts show (internalized) transphobic rhetoric.

Yay, Nina in a dress! I love drawing flowly dresses and ruffles but rarely get to do it, so I took the opportunity to put her in a summer dress. :)

I think we’ve seen Zockl be especially nasty in his inner monologue when he is judging people for something he himself is struggeling with. Like when he thought all of Flix’ friends are boring and phony when he actually felt insecure. Or how angry he was at Flix for not making a move on him when they were finally alone for the first time because he himself couldn’t muster up the courage to talk about what he wants. So maybe he is really close to realizing something here.

Nina has a *lot* of freckles. Tobi does look like he'd rather be anywhere else but there.

I really like where this is going so far, I like it when characters have nasty inner dialogue, that makes them more real to me. He had a very cis-straight upbringing so these thoughts really make sense for him.

Despite the fact that Tobi doesn't seem to be enjoying his time, he seems to be not feeling as bad as he was when his mind was focused on his lovestruck friend. Despite the fact that his monologue tends to be cruel and clearly judgemental, it's clear that he must at least be aware of the issues that could arise if he were to just blurt out his thoughts in their original form. It's also kinda interesting how despite his obvious biases that most likely stem from his country bound upbringing, his view on gender though a bit transphobic, is actually something I can agree with. I'm talking specifically about his comment about not "feeling like a man nor a woman". Personally it feels like something that people think about way too much so I don't really like discussing gender since it can get kind of unessecarily toxic.

It's funny, I also have a *lot* of freckles but because they are mine I quite literally don't see them anymore. I always wonder what I would look like drawn and would it be weirder to see or not see them.

A lot of us who are doing the work to grow and expand our understanding—especially in issues with which we don’t personally identify, it sometimes takes a while to recognize that our thoughts and instincts are bigoted and phobic. If we don’t first realize that type of cruelty is within us, then we cannot confront it head on and start dismantling and reframing those thoughts and instincts. Zockl’s family seems bigoted in general (especially mom), and they don’t see it at all in themselves. It seems reasonable that he would default to that narrower view. However, you do such a brilliant job of showing his growth as he becomes exposed to more of the world and learns about people who are different from him, and those who are different from how he perceives “people” in general.

I rather not, and no I am not a toxic liking person, and most inner thoughts in webtoons are this. He is Toxical against himself, he is so like bipolar... had a friend who was that and I never could predict her nor do as right as I tried. (She was only a friend that's why I simply stopped trying and hit her, as she had one of her phase and was talking trash about my father behind my back, like she tried telling friends he is no good for me, only while she was the worst with her parents). Tobi now seems kinda alike, he got problems but assume the problems are driven by others, while he is the one feeling empty like an emo. No hart or ill meanings here. But people really should start seeing therapy as a kinda art of help and use them more, maybe they would stop always assuming stuff. Inner thoughts are only assuming stuff.

Funny how he really is the one fixated on the gender topic but thinking the others are, while tjey are simply as they are, but it's proof how he was brought up. Sadly. I am so happy that I have such an open minded Dad, that he simply never duscuss my gender and accepts how I look each day. If only the whole world would be like that, there would be no hatred and all could find themselves.

Is Zockl agender then? That makes him a triple A battery XD But really, I can relate, as I'm also agender and gender apathetic like Zockl is. I get that for me and Zockl, gender identity and gender expression is just a non-issue. But I guess Zockl hasn't taken into account that if for him, the gender thing isn't a big deal, then for others, the opposite is true- that gender is a big deal, and that it's an actual thing and not "just for attention".
