I found your comic last night and binged the whole thing on WEBTOON, got to the ad episode and said “oh no” when I saw the ad knowing I’d caught up, came your patreon and I love it. This story is cute and relatable in many ways, and I love seeing them be important to each other. Seeing “I love you” a few pages back was so nice because after so much time as friends before becoming lovers, loving each other should be natural. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m glad I found this comic but always wish I’d found it later so that there’d be more already! 😜

The pain of disappointing your parent is so incredibly difficult. I know exactly how he feels. My mom “accepted” me too after years of telling me to pray it away. But disappointment was written all over her face. We still don’t really talk about it to this day. I’ve just avoided it for the sake of still having my mom. It’s so hard when you love someone unconditionally, and come to find out there are definite conditions and limits to their love for you. They can fake it all they want, but it’s easy to see. You can feel the lack of love from them and it feels like someone’s taken a piece of your soul away from you. It’s a horrible pain I don’t wish on anyone. Thankfully Zockl has Flix here with him to help him through it and remind him that there’s nothing wrong with him and he’s still loved by someone. I wish I had someone like him when I went through it.

Author I love the way you choose your frames, like the panel that's just Tobi's knees or the way he's positioned almost vertically when he starts talking about the conversation with his mom. Idk it just conveys a lot of emotions that I can't even really describe, but it's very unique and I like that aspect of your work a lot.
