SO, my external hard drive was having issues and now refuses to turn on. (It was wonky for ages.)

This thing has about 98% of my life's work. From almost my beginning years online (DA), to now.

This includes my comic works in entirety, because those were huge and I didn't like them on main. Space problems got irksome, heh.

Back up. my ARSE. What do you do when that dies?

I'm quite anxious and upset, rightly so.

I had just started on finalizing chapter 2 -after much faffing, trial and error. huge progress.

Everything was roses until. it wasn't. I may need a specialist to try recover my files and I pray they can, or it looks BAD. I don't want to think about that. OTL

I do have a few recent pieces still on main unrelated to comics, my inspiration rn is high as I was really looking forward to ploughing through Cadenza, though, but if I lose my work I might have a dive, a cry, and a hard time picking myself up.

Tech hate me. 😂

I was entertaining the idea of spoilers for a few days as well, that timing could not be more bitter, wheeze.

I have some pages, perhaps saved I sent to friends, however, they are not the final, at least some eye candy. I hope they're not the last fragments, though, and I can finish this story, and others I had planned.

I'll update if things are golden.
