Hey! Haven't done one of these in a long minute, so here I am!Unfortunately, I don't really have that much to show you guys - just one new character sprite. I was busy with some other stuff, game-related (like redoing the itch page and stuff like that) or otherwise but I still managed to do SOMETHING at the very least.

Before we go any further, a little preamble - there will be one more update before the plot continuation - v0.46Like I did once before (with v0.42) I will just add some extra stuff to the game or touch up on some art or mechanics. I intend on making the game as polished as possible because:

I'll try to have Chasing Memories be put on Steam!

I already paid the 100$ needed, and sent the required IDs and everything - I'm just waiting for Steam to confirm all that stuff, and then I can attempt (that's the key word here) to have my game accepted. I'm saying it like that, because apparently Steam is very fickle when it comes to adult games that have, and here goes - SMALL BOOBAS in them. Yes, really. In the minds of some of the reviewers there small boobs = underage girls, and that will get you banned from Steam outright.

What I'll have to do, is cut some of the content out of the game (Roselle's kiss and Mira's scenes, probably - also Kate's extra scene and perhaps Hazel's, too) to pass the review cleanly. Obviously the content will only be missing from the Steam version - itch or patreon builds will still have it. Well that, and after speaking to someone that already has their game out on Steam (shout out WispDev) I'll probably be able to just update the game with the missing content once it enters Early Access (after the review process) so it's not that big of a deal.Aside from Steam, I've been working on some other things as well. Some of the stuff I can't show yet, but here's the gist - I will be remaking the earlier animations, one by one. Again. Yeah, I know.As of now, Luna's cowgirl ride has been remade and looks much better - the 2 other anims I'll remake for v0.46 will be Alraune's missionary scene and Lumi's cowgirl. I think I can make them look a lot better. In addition to that, v0.46 will feature one extra scene, the one you see on the thumbnail - Myconid will give you some shroomy head! You can thank one of my 100$ patrons for that ;)

If you're curious about v0.46's (possible) future changelog, here's a rough list:

CHINESE TRANSLATION - yes, thanks to DMgalaxy, the game will get a proper, human-made, Chinese translation! If you want to help me with any other languages (as I refuse to do just AI-generated translations), please reach out to me!

One new scene with the Myconid

Some of the animations redone, possibly with new climax scenes (especially for Luna and the Alraune)

MOBILE PORT OPTIMIZATION - this is something I just NEED to do, since the game can be laggy at times on mobile. I promise I'll do everything I can to make the android port as good as the PC version.

I'll redraw some of the sprites - nothing major, just some polishing

Combat balancing - some of the skills are too useless, some of them are too OP - I need to fix that

Fix bugs, as usual

The Alraune gets new music, tailor-made just for her! You'll see :)

Alright then, spoilers ahead! Meet Alienne, the town doctor!

I'm not going to say what her deal is, or why she looks like that - you will find out in the next update, or the updates that follow. BUT - 2nd anthro character in the game, regardless!

Also - I'll probably change her clothes a bit (I was thinking of making her lab coat dirtier for example) but her overall design is final and I'm very happy with how things turned out.
