AI music is weird and always will be

Bpinardi

I don’t think we’re getting it anymore but I still hope we get the showbiz reaction

StayHydrated

Dude's a self-proclaimed, swastika-wearing nazi. Why are you supporting him (by listening and posting your reaction to his music)? Y'all shouldn't be giving him this much attention.

Balviñ Junior

Highs and lows might be one of his best beats

roxx

Brother just ignored everything they said during track 1. R Kelly’s classics aren’t gonna be denied because he’s a horrible person and the same goes for Ye.

Jason

Yes a self proclaimed nazi not an actual nazi. It's not like he's doing nazi shit, he's just being a crackpot on twitter for a reaction. I'll listen to the music as long as it doesn't contain any of that bs.

I_Phil_U

Ye been tripping but he’s a reason why you separate art from artist. He makes great music although he’s a shitty person. I say all that to say that intro track so fire and that Al Spanish joint 🔥🔥🔥

neenAKAneena

If the lyrics are AI, the samples were done by someone else, and his voice is auto tune, is Kanye actually "making" the music? Can he still be considered amongst the greats? It's like having thousands of ghostwriters and producers working with you.

Jack N. Goff

Not sure if it’s my setup but y’all’s mic volume seems way low compared to the music in this one

enzo

I agree! I've felt like this for some of the other recent videos too, but this one is extra bad. I'm running the volume knob like a DJ to get through it. Idk anything about video editing but there must be a way to equalize the sound from video and each of their mics. It might just be how close they are to the mic, but sometimes one of their voices is much louder than the others.

Jack N. Goff

This one’s real bad especially when the album first starts. It’s not a difficult thing as far as editing goes, but to give the boys some grace it IS easy to overlook because depending on your software it’s not an in-your-face part of the process. Not even really complaining, just wanted to make it known so maybe they can double check next time if I’m not the only one having that specific experience.

pretty sure Ye said he did all the beats himself (no way to confirm to be fair) and he’s been using autotune since 2008 sooooo idk if it sounds dope it sounds dope fuck it

PNGYAKUZA

Performative outrage. Kanye is worth half a billion dollars, the 6 cents streaming his album will produce has, quite literally, no effect on the world. If you want to do something useful, connect with your local ADL or NAACP org and volunteer/donate instead of yapping to make yourself feel better.

StayHydrated

It's more about principle. I personally can't separate the artist from the music. Even if it's just six cents, it's six less cents that's going into designing nazi merchandise. Or in the case of other artist like Tory Lamez for example, I don't want my six cents going to pay lawyers to defend people who assault or sexually abuse women. . Why give a nazi any amount of money to listen to shitty AI music anyway? These people stay as relevant as you make 'em. There's so much good music and talented artists that are deserving of a Vibevilla reaction. Might be performative outrage but it started internally as Kanye was my favorite and most listened to artists for many years. Don't mean to yap or act like I'm on some high horse.. but I do sleep better knowing my .00001 cents in streaming isn't going to a terrible person.

Danielle karassik

I don’t think he deserves getting a reaction or anyone listening to his music

Marquis

His work is so tainted for me because as a dude growing up in the southern US, who has been racially profiled, called Hard R, and dealt with so much racism. Having Ye go online selling shits with N*zi symbols, call himself a N*zi and Hard R. And going on a rant about his own skinfolk, i just can't do it anymore. All of the antics for an unfinished album roll out. And people will let this man do whatever he wants because he's good at slapping beats on a CD.

Marquis

This is such a soulless take. He's already rich so let's keep supporting him because it doesn't matter. Grow a spine

Greenmc2000

the washed Nazi before the man of the people MIKE 😞 nigga speaks the opposite of ye

Jo Bros

This before Stillmatic is crazy smh

Brandon K

This before a MIKE Showbiz! reaction is kinda crazy. Not even a finished album….Appreciate the uploads still

celton

love yall boys appreciate the content.. gotta add to the Showbiz! MIKE reaction comments tho. need y’all’s thoughts and meditations on his music. streets asking please feed the family 💪🏾💪🏾

celton

word up

Ryan

I'm not trying to rant but imma be so real right now. It's crazy how many people still give Kanye the time of day when there are other dope artist who aren't narcissistic racist. Did you tap into Mickey Diamonds' Super Shredder last year? AOTY. Also MIKE's Showbiz has been going crazy of course. It's just crazy to me that you have so many great underground artist begging for spins and people still give Kanye a pass because he's Kanye. People say separate the art from the artist but that is impossible when art is an expression of the artist. If you wanna separate the art from the artist then don't say anything about AI because that is the ultimate separation of art from artist.

PNGYAKUZA

I don't care about imaginary harms and souls aren't high on my priority list either. Does my listening to the album cause tangibly bad things to happen? No? Okay then I'm not particularly concerned at all.

Jackson Bentele

Your drake ye idea at the end is so funny and true 😂 ultimate troll

Danielle karassik

Just want to add one more thing And it has nothing to do with you guys your guys content is the best hip hop content period. But it’s just really hard for me to understand the pass Kanye gets Because let’s be real if he was a white guy saying the things Kanye is saying no matter how talented he is we wouldn’t be listening to him. If he was a white guy talking about slavery is a choice or all Jews should be slaves you guys wouldn’t have listened to his music So I really don’t get why does he get a pass?

Sam M

I think, and this is my guess, and Im guilty of it myself, he gets a pass cause the dude is fucking broken, and clearly mentally ill. Not an excuse, but a pass, if that makes sense. I think people generally hope there’s a light for him and that he can course correct. I think the pass is given in HOPES there may be a chance. I’m not saying it’s right, I agree with the statements being outlandish, but one correction, regardless of what race, any race saying that should be condoned. Anyways, the whole ordeal is an oxymoron or dichotomy, whichever you’d like to view it from.

babo

looool subscribing to vibe villa and saying 'if a white guy said this' is crazy to me

babo

outside of this conversation the ‘if a white guy said it’ thing is obtuse because yes things sound more oppressive coming from the oppressor..

Nate

Appreciate the reaction as always! We getting that nav reaction soon?

Alan

Nav nav
