curiositykilledalex

BEEN WAITING ON THIS SINCE I HEARD THE BEAT DROP ON ENSALADA 😭😭🙏🏽

Tavontae

Summertime Butch 🤷🏿‍♂️

Marquis

Hell yea, looking forward to this!!! Also, we need Mike Burning Desire. We need Mike redemption

Donovan

WE HEREEE LETS GET IT!

Dvd

WE HERE

Andrew Pisano

Been playin this and clipse all day. This album is better than the first. Him and Al don’t seem to miss. Hand the man his Grammy.

Dameville

Quick with it! Lets go!

Nicholas O.

Freddie is dissing Gunna on Lavish Habits, they have previous beef and Gunna name checked him on an album before

RapidSnailSprint

hell yeh, aoty contender for sure. reminder to please react to Smino's album 'Noir'

Fooly

Didnt think it was possible for these 2 to top Alfredo 1 but they really did it mannnnn 😮‍💨😮‍💨

David Abraham

Kane train and Uncle Al 🔥 back to the Grammys they go!

PhiLDaReaL

Freddie dissed Curren$y on Gas station sushi. A project they made called Fetti w/ Alchemist in 2018. Freddie was saying that he should did that album by himself, and that Pt.3 is Alfredo 2

PhiLDaReaL

Gibbs also dissed Jim jones in epanadas. Gibbs said he smacked jones in Miami, and his boys jumped him, he played it safe. “Bitches in Buffalo….” goes into the Benny diss.

Colin

funny that Anderson Paak hook is one of the hardest in years to me

Night Market

Gibbs dissed Jim Jones on Empanadas, alluding to the run-in they had in Miami a while back. He also dissed Curren$y on Gas Station Sushi, which was so random lol. But basically he's saying he carried on Fetti - a collab album with Gibbs, Curren$y, and Alchemist back in 2018 (fire album btw) - which is why he's saying this current collab, Alfredo 2 is actually part 3. And yes, he sent a shot at Gunna to on Lavish Habits, they got beef. There also might be a JPEGMAFIA jab on I Still Love H.E.R. too. Freddie pulled no punches on this one.

Joey

I can’t stop listening to Ensalada. That beat is perfect

MichelEcko

Isn't the whole Japanese theme a follow up on the Italian/mob theme on the first Alfredo? Like Japanse mob is quite notorious; the Yakuza

ZKatN

JID did his thing but imo l don’t think it was enough to save the song. Ensalada and Lavish Habits go though. On repeat fr. Love the outro from Lavish into Gold Feet.

VibeVilla

Makes sense! Appreciate the insight

mattmattburr

New coast contra on the radar performance dropped today and they and they had one like a week ago you should react to both of em

Ezra

My favorite album by MIKE for sure 🙌🏽

Sun Tzu

Guys I loved this reaction, but I would absolutely love to see you react to Fetti. That's the only missing piece of the puzzle now for Freddie and Alchemist collab albums. Some of Freddie's coldest bars are on that album including Willie Lloyd that is one of the hardest rap tracks ever

Squish Wright

They forgetting you only live twice aswell

Miles Reid

nah he talking about gunna!! remember they were beefing and then gunna dissed him on his album (pre jail, the one w the white cover)

Miles Reid

also, gold feet def a slightly different sound but the beat grows on u in the context of the album and just as an instrumental in general. the tempo is what catches u off guard at first but ive listened all the way through a few times and its grown on me in terms of sound and sequencing in each listen. it also hits harder coming back into the next track which is really nice.

WithoutTheJuice

Lavish Habits and A Thousand Mountains are the ones for me

Mello

Shangri la, Ensaladas, Empanadas, and Skinny Suge 2 were definitely the songs that I’m enjoying the most. Overall dope album I can’t complain what I received

Mello

Y’all gotta listen to the new Raekwon album too. Too much good albums that’s coming out back to back.

Keenan Nash

Going out in flames like tower 2...

CelTV

Miami getting jump was towards Jim jones

CelTV

Larry June let me down with this one

anthony kyle reyes

No different route it was the best beat on the tape and on the same chill vibe

Mikhile Williams

Yooo first time commenting! Wanted to offer my perspective on the vibe/style slightly switching with the JID feature on Gold Feet, because I kinda felt similar to Darae in the sense that I struggled with the sound at first, but with more listens I really vibe with it in the whole Alc/Freddie soundscape. What I feel is that in both Alfredo albums, sometimes when there’s a feature on a song the beat somewhat allows Freddie and the feature to meet in the middle so to speak, so the beat may deviate a bit from the Alfredo sound but it sounds like something Freddie would rap on while also sounding like a beat whoever the feature is would do their thing on too. I thought back through the Alfredo features and I feel like Scottie Beam with Rick Ross is a bit like this, Something To Rap About with Tyler is too, on Alfredo 2 Ensalada with Anderson Paak definitely has a bit of a “meet in the middle” kind of approach imo. And I like that personally, I think Gold Feet does have elements to its sound that deviate from the signature Alfredo sound but not too heavily, while it absolutely sounds like something that could be on any JID project. Like I said it took a few listens to really connect with it properly sound-wise, but I’ve come to really enjoy it in the whole soundscape of the album now. Sorry this is super long but felt appropriate! Love the content fellas 🙏🏾

Chris

It is about gunna. Gunna dissed freddie on the DS4 album back in 2022

Jake Grogins

cool on this project. ive tried to get into freddie but its not for me. 1st 2 songs were fire then he lost me.

Pynnx

This albums soundscape is exactly what I want from these 2 so I’m pretty happy wit this and Alfredo 1 is a new decade classic

VibeVilla

Appreciate this perspective. Will definitely try and keep in in mind throughout the next listen

Clark8

Check out his last project

mist

Bro yall gotta check out Pinball 2 by MIKE with Tony Seltzer top 2 for me this year with Clipse

Leon K

I swear the guitar in the second half of 1995 is the same sample Al used on Power Ballad off of No Idols - It'd be crazy if Al was going back to beats he made over a decade ago and finding new ways to use the samples Maybe it just sounds similar though someone needs to fact check me

TC

Damn how yall not have a reaction to the "pee on city girls like p diddy" line?!?!? that was one of the craziest bars of the whole album lmao

Oluwatosin

They misused JID. I think letting him just rap is lazy and it killed the vibe of the album for me. JID did what he does but that song feels like it should’ve been a bonus track.

Abhi Aravalli

Lavish Habits was at Gunna too, y'all should look up how Freddie was trolling him during it on your own time lol

Hasib Haidari

He dissed curren$y on gas station sushi - “I could’ve ran that fetti by myself / go start a Chevy don’t start with me”

Clark8

What you think of it g

Saint Chris

bro you def gotta go back and listen through the first installment. Classic album fr.

Ben Browning

How tf should they use jid besides to rap lmao

Abdi

Jb2?

Brandon Wheeler

Idk I felt like we heated up on gas station sushi, lavish habits, and gold feet. The aggression was building almost like someone lost their temper. You pointed out the talking beef after starting saying no beef.

meatballdad

if y’all have some extra time on your hands, it would be dope to get a re-reaction of the first alfredo now that you’re more warmed up to freddie’s sound! that album is already a classic

Jo Bros

Would love to see a recap for this album. Hope y’all react to the Raekwon at some point too

Reed Andress

Only one close to Freddie on the coke rap is Boldy James yall need to check out more of his projects So far this is my AOTY

Marquis

They checked out pinball 2 already and hated it. They should have checked out pinball 1 instead tbh

Moby Bosman

All the monologues on the album are from the shortfilm alchemist and freddie made, ya’ll should check it out. Loved the reaction!

Shane Everhart

gold feet just reminding me how good gdlu gon be, yalls reaction is gonna be my first listen

219sino

Ensalada a ghetto spiritual

WilliamT

I listened to this album yesterday and was blown away. This morning while on my morning walk with the dog I listened to Alfredo for the first time and was again blown away. Really stoked to listen with you guys now and enjoy it again.

jstVibe

that 4 track run right there was insane!!

GeeCee88

🔥🔥🔥 reaction

CLASHWITHNOT

JID is fucking disgusting on gold feet, need a JID X alchemist collab
