I really hate the idea of giving drake a pass for making bad music (maid of Honor) because he dropped 3 album and Iceman is the "main album". Would we allow so much grace for any other artist of his caliber? Not trying to bring Kendrick because I'm over the beef shit but like, if he did that, no one would be like "but GNX is the main album so I'll give this a pass" beside the stans. People would be saying how its a stain on his legacy. But we allow Drake to do it so much. Iceman was solid for Drake. Maid of honor was dog water, and this album, at least for me was just filler.

I did say it's not for me. I'm voicing my criticism of the music and the artist like anyone is allowed to do. It's just when it comes to Drake, if you make any criticism his hoard of knights come out the wood works to discredit anyone speaking on him. I want good music from Drake. Music I can listen to, most people do. So people are allowed to voice disappointment. And I still stand by that if I respect Drake's artistry as much as say J Cole for example, then I hold him to the same standard.

lol he’s just criticizing the fact that you stated that it’s “bad” like he said some people truly enjoy that type of house music. Similarly I don’t like country or folk music but I can’t say that it’s bad. Now if that was a genre your heavily invested in and you said drake implementation was bad then there might be some merit to that argument.

yah not to pile on with everyone else but skipping the songs wasn't cool tbh, I get the fatigue with Drake given that y'all had to turn out 3 album reactions + mv reactions + album review, but if you were burned out y'all shouldn't have forced it. And I know y'all were burned out because I know for a FACT Gen 5 would have gotten more love, from Prince at least lol
