Y'all killed this. This is already top 5 GOAT albums in my opinion and y'all managed to make me love it even more. Pac was different.

It blows my mind that he was rapping like this at 24 years old and had passed by 25. In my mind, the essence of hip hop is Tupac 🙌🏼

Majod Jordan and Drake also interpolated Temptations on the track Stars Align.

In a similar vein to the Cole reference, it occurred to me that Vince Staples has a line in Étouffée "Shed so many tears, lost a hundred friends" as a reference to So Many Tears here... exploring albums like this is like reading the bible and finally understanding where all these phrases in western culture come from 🤯

It makes me so happy to see you guys listening and appreciating this album. For me as someone who I still think is super super late into this world of hiphop, it's crazy taking in the contrast of what music and artists other people had to walk with them during their lives. Like how Darae admitted he never really dabbled too much into Pac's catalog, but while listening he pictured himself as a youngin' walking down the street listening to that song, and seeing instead of Pac it was Cole that played that role in his life. Idk, its just cool to me that people had/have different music or artists while they walk life and in the end those artists played the same role.

Fav song: Lord knows. Genuinely a perfect song, one I can drive to, think to, and close my eyes to. Was looking forward to ur guys' reaction in Pac's verse about his homie dying in his arms and etc. That whole section gives me chills.

Literally no skips on this album
