Yoooo this album has been on rotation since the second it was released..! Today is new music Friday and I ain’t got time for nothing else.. a week in and I haven’t stopped listening..! I’m pretty certain I won’t listen to much else (if anything at all) til Kendrick next week.. Thanks for the reaction, I don’t have many people in my circle that listen to or even know of any of the Hip Hop I listen too, so it’s nice to chill with you both and feel what a reaction with mates would be like ✌🏼

I was waiting on this one! Ransom really makes it seem pretty much effortless at this point. The square box , I produce line I believe he was talking about the studio booth.

Xenolithic

Logic just dropped a dope joint with Russ that you guys should for sure do a reaction to.

Legendary fellas! Been waiting for this to drop since the album dropped. Thanks for the reaction. Love seeing yous react to my favourite music, makes it more enjoying for me to learn and listen to. Trying to catch every bar is like Pacman tryna eat every single token before getting captured. Replay value through the roof! Couple things to help for your next round of listening (probably already caught onto): "Crip Mac, with a couple 5s drawn on your face" - rituals. Crip Mac is a rapper from New Orleans with a couple 5s tattooed on his face. The track Makin It, Ran is givin props to Nas since Nas has a track called "Life Is What You Make It". Beautiful Gravesites - "Stand up n*gga, get hurt wit they flag like Jonathan Isaac". Jonathan Issac was the first NBA player to stand during the anthem in protest, then got injured straight after. / Gangbangers, reppin their flags also. I'm missing something with the make your Jordans Peel line cause there's also an actor Jordan Peele. Black Chakra finishes his verse with naming almost every ransom album/mixtape: crime scene, directors cut, heavy is the head, coup de grace, ransom notes, pain & glory, street cinemas, history of violence. Love and appreciate the content fellas! salute from Australia

Tarek Tarabay

that part using "Drakes" cause they hearts on the line also cause Drake literally had a heart on his head/lineup lol

Yusuf Ari

also "Too concerned with his fashion, I wonder, who should he mock next?" - Compromised. mockneck shirts

Yusuf Ari

"Now tell me, who's the emcee that'll cause the reverend to run? " Run-DMC?

Greig Watters

that redemption beat with the all i need sample from the blueprint is fuckin amazing

Dvd

Thanks so much for doing this one. Project is so good.

Kevin

Great episode,I felt this!

Chris

Elijah price is mr glass in the movies unbreakable & glass played by samuel jackson. Its part of a trilogy of movies with the third being split, & “sold your soul for an easy break” is a play on mr glass’ character because he was born with a condition where his bones were weak & would often break. He becomes a villain hence the “sold your soul”

Logan Blackwelder

Another genius layer to that "the Hawk" track, is the whole scheme is a boxing scheme and the sample in the back is a mix on the Rocky song from the movies.

You GOT to react to Ransom - A beautiful mind, hellraiser, and inglorious bastard. Crazy good songs from Directors cut scene two!!!
