2022 was a crazy year, excited to see what 2023's like. 🙏🏻

Mateus B.

the greatest comeback since jesus christ

Solid lists, amazing year. Surprised to see no Freddie for either of you tbh. And I think I‘m speaking for everyone when I say I‘d still like to see that Danger Mouse x Thought reaction, even if it isn’t even half the album. It’s exactly what an album like that warrants so if you still have it I‘d watch it anyways. No matter how I try to twist my list, it has to be in my top 3. No one seeing Thought fr

I‘d probably also have both Billy Woods and both Ka projects in my top 20. What those guys are doing lyrically is ridiculous. And Prince if you haven’t listened to the Ka projects a reaction would still be great lmao, both pretty short as well

Rudra

I don't know if you ever checked out the Kxng Crooked and Joell Ortiz projects from this year, both were really good. An album that I liked a lot more than I expected was Traumazine by Megan Thee Stallion. Yessie by Jessie Reyez was also a really good listen, especially the second half in my opinion. I think if the Game reduced his album length to 15-20 songs and was a bit less of a clown, he has one of the better albums this year, but as it stands that album was a big disappointment to me

Y'all should check out some of DEHH top rap albums: eLZhi & Georgia Anne Muldrow's Zhigeist; Ty Farris & Sebb Bash's Fluorescent Mud; The Difference Machine's Unmasking the Spirit Fake; ELUCID I Tole Bessie and Kno & Sadistik's Bring Me Back When The World Is Cured

2022 was wild, but honestly the quality of music last year was top notch

Also, I have to point out that RTJ were features on Cheat Codes and 10! Looking forward to VVRTJ2 in 2023 <3

Mekhii

Yo! I hold Saba in the highest regard at this point in my life so I appreciate the respect y’all put on his name!

James Green

Yo love the work … just wanna take the time to ask y’all to check out “Digital Roses “ from Big Kritt this year .. this guy so underrated .. of he was from Cali or ATL he would be more popping for sho! Love 🙏

Dvd

Great vid. billy woods "Aethiopes" took my #1 this year, amazing project.

Corey Walden

Ransom "No Rest For the Wicked" is at the top of my list. Glad Ka got the honorable mention, I just found out about that double drop, too. What a freaking year for hip hop.

SAM-WISE GAMGEE

Krit needs more love for sure. Rhode Clean is so good for ridin around

2022 was packed with amazing projets even on the trap side of things I got put on EST Gee with his project with 42 Dugg, Babyface Ray became one of my favorite artist ever in like 1 year and there is no boldy in your top but I know for a fact that if y'all had listen to one of his 5 projects it would be in this vid. His work ethic and output quality is definitely up there with ransom and 38 Spesh.

Quincy Beurskens

The boldy recommendation is a real one. 4 Projects of pure class, for me Killing Nothing is the favored.

Kostia

I know music is subjective but I cant believe The Forever Story is not in your top 5. The replay value is insane. Features, beats, flows and subject matters. It has everything. Great video as always!

Kostia

Top 3 of the year: - The Forever Story - King’s Disease III - Tana Talk 4 Crazy year for Hip Hop!

Cherif ÄNT¥

Killing nothing is my shit but the one he dropped with Craven was my favorite in 2022

nick.

u mean forever story

Quincy Beurskens

I would highly recommend HUGO from Loyle carner
