SAM-WISE GAMGEE

Can't blame you. I've replayed the full KRIT react like 7 times.

eoin

Ay sick glad you guys did power nap, one of the best songs of last year For a real throwback: Cannibal Ox - iron galaxy. Produced by El-P, some crazy dope, grimy NY shit from the early 2000s.

rome sweatshirt

Yes. Power Nap is basically the entire song Boldy going in with sleep schee and even the fucking sample says go to sleep repeatedly. Boldy is one of the best out rn easily

Arjun

I got a couple you guys can react to: Waves- Russ Late Night Rolling - Avelino

Trey M

Bad influences from my uncle - ICECOLDBISHOP unique voice and his energy is just different

Saiyan

I don't blame you, when I first heard the song I was tapped in for the instrumental, but after reading the lyrics the song went harder. My next suggestion I know won't fail is IDK - Lil Arrogant ft Joey Bada$$ and Russ. The track title says it all.

Joshua Nguyen

my guy said: "The crown weighs a ton, it's not for everyone-- but when it's for you... then the weight is nothing in comparison to the weight of the pressure when you waiting on getting one. I scale through moments in time, I'm regretting some. Being stone cold makes you realize change is a stone's throw away so there's comfort in knowing nothing's ever set in one, but I am not without sin, yet I'm on the pulpit with the mic in my hand... testing one, two, one... to the one who wanna drive by the crib just cause homie addressed him wrong. Talkin bout we kings, don't even got the strength to dress as one. N*gga, the crown weighs a ton. Balance, vital, in every game essentially, in the game of life especially. Back and forth we go. If you keeping score, you doing it wrong and winnings not your specialty. You don't keep the score, you reinvest the score and that's the winning recipe-- reciprocity, for this club, that needs to be the strong suit. The ace up the sleeve of the ones who got heart in spades, the jacks of all trades-- don't make the wrong move. They got tools, and the home must be built because the house always wins. The jokers don't belong in the deck that we in. Kings and queens, our minds hold gems in comparison to none. Diamonds made under the weight of pressure. THE CROWN WEIGHS A TON."

FigLeaf Bicarbonate

I got another one for you, another collab. Roc Marciano & Busta Rhymes - Trojan Horse and Roc Marciano - Amethyst

Joshua Nguyen

card scheme is straight fire and i'm gonna break it down best i can. "for this club, that needs to be the strong suit" -So club here ties back to the reciprocity and winning line -Reciprocity is the STRONG SUIT and ties to the "specialty" line -Say that 'the strong' SUIT this club. Real strong men and women reciprocate when they win and reinvest -CLUB is a card suit so we on a card scheme "the ace up the sleeve of the ones who got heart in spades, the jack of all trades-- don't make the wrong move. They got tools" -In spades means in abundance, so the ace of the ones who have heart in abundance is reciprocity and sharing that heart -ace, heart, spades, jack, move, house -but don't make the wrong MOVE, because they're jacks of all trades which means that they arent all sunshines and rainbows AND they got TOOLS "and the home must be built because the house always wins" -the HOME needs and must be built! I'm thinking Darae is talking about broken homes here that's causing people to suffer. It must be built because the house always wins, meaning the people win when families are united and they're given proper infrastructure to work with -common gambling expression that the house always wins. basically places like casinos are created by design to always bring in profit and have the last laugh -another interpretation I thought of is that people also use the house always wins synonymously with the government always winning. could connect to 'the matrix' and that we are all in this manmade game that we can never actually 'win' especially when divided (without home/community/unity) "the jokers don't belong in the deck that we in. Kings and queens, our minds hold gems in comparison to none. diamonds made under the weight of pressure. The crown weighs a ton" -jokers, deck, kings, queens -jokers aren't using in most games so people take them out of the deck, but also jokers like suckers and fools -jokers=jester, kings and queens normally have court jesters to entertain them but they're not on the same level at all -men and women, our minds hold gems. gems=valuable knowledge, wisdom, rarities that most don't have -diamonds are made under pressure, we all know carbon when pressurized enough can turn into diamonds -the loop back connection to the crown weighs a ton is INSANE here. So kings, queens, crowns, none of that is literal or physical, it's all spiritual and mental. we have these 'crowns' or IMO character/morals/dreams/goals, and the weight of these crowns apply that pressure that create and birth the GEMS in our minds

First off, just wanna say I appreciate this series so much man. Y'all (both VV and my peoples in the comments) put me on to so much dope music. Kenny Mason's The Cave freestyle is what put me on to HIS music, shit was FIRE and only like a minute or so long. Idk if links work on patreon but https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7pHm_APTpo

SWORDAD

Wynne - Ego check ft. JID

Malcolm Hughes

I wouldn't poll Roc Marciano Mt Marci, i feel like it would never win tbh. Ya'll should just go ahead and react to it.

Marquis

Elijah shepherd

Freestyle was fire! gotta hear more Swerve - Dende ironically, it’s got a late night drive feel

Vencsi

Please check out anything off of ICECOLDBISHOP's debut album Generational Curse. Literally any song off of it will do. Does not miss IMO. Very unique sound with a slight Kendrick influence. I'd recommend either Til The End or Candlelight, but like I said any song will do.

Miles

Ayyyye I appreciate the love boys! Keep doin what y’all do! I feel there’s no way you haven’t heard pg baby remix by redveil and Zel but if you have then check out Kenny Lofton by J Cole

Fario

Saba - Back In Office prod. by No I.D

Marquis

You mentioned a while ago wanted to hear dope tracks from mac you haven't heard. Mac miller has an alter ego called Delusional Thomas, lyrically Thomas is some of his best work, ever, however, it's incredibly dark, twisted and grungy. I recommend checking out "Larry" from his delusional Thomas mix tape, or, Grandpa used to carry a flask which is a lot less gruesome of a track but sounds a lot better honestly. It's the most popular song from the mixtape

Rudra

It's been a while since one of my songs has made the cut so I'm gonna try to bring out the big guns: Only Human by Joe Budden Scary Movies by Eminem and Royce da 5'9 Go To Sleep by Eminem, DMX, and Obie Trice Shot Down by DMX ft 50 Cent and Styles P

shots

King Los - Mines Still FREESTYLE

stopbydilla

Nah Darae you got bars fr fr. Also it was so dope to see how hyped Prince got from them lmao. I wanna let y‘all know there’s a new Black Thought album that‘s coming out tomorrow (14th) so check it fs. I actually haven’t liked the style of the singles too much since he’s much more lowkey but it’s Thought so it‘ll always be amazing. He also said it’s probably his most personal album. On that note, I know you‘ve probably heard it a thousand times but I‘d love to see a reaction to "Crowns For Kings“ by Benny feat. Thought. A top 20 hip hop song for me. If you wanna check out something you might not have heard, check out "Streets" by Thought.

Rudra

I'll also suggest May Block by Conway the Machine

Bpinardi
