Loving the way this looks and it brought up a thought. I will probably change some of the physical details in Uncle Nick to match the finished image rather than insist that the artist adhere to my vision beyond the broad strokes. I wonder how often that happens. Probably rare, and only indie authors.

yeah those are clearly legs not pedipalps. right? although if you still use them as an indicator of her emotions the lewdness intensify.

Equal parts monstrous and alluring, I love it! Story wise I still thing pedipalps would work better as they’re one clear indicator (besides the obvious spider body) that she’s not “fully” human, but I ultimately believe that the final product will be the better story regardless. Thanks for the sneak peak!

I like the picture with the legs, but I imagined her with a set of pedipalps below her human arms. In my mind's eye she had legs as in the pic, but a slightly longer torso with pedipalps below her human arms. I also imagine that when she walks she might tuck her human legs underneath her or pull them up by her chest which she could hold them in place with her pedipalps or human arms. I probably think too much about the physiology of a spider monster girl too much. Driders were one of my fav characters in AD&D.

I really enjoy how this is coming along. Major props to the artist.
