Storytime: The Divine Koan was a story idea I came up with BEFORE Mask of the Template. It was actually the third book I'd written (the first two for those of you wanting the DEEP KNOWLEDGE being the fabled 'Book 0' which shall not be named, and another portal fantasy I was calling 'Otherworld Odyssey' which may or may not see the light of day at some point after an EXTENSIVE re-write).

Send Me An Angel has problems. Serious problems, which is why I currently have no plans to continue the Divine Koan series at this time.

However ...

I keep getting people here and there asking me about this series. One of you hit me up on FB just recently and suggested I do chapter by chapter of the Divine Koan here.

I thought about that, and figured I'd ask.

Bear this in mind before you answer: if I dedicate time to Divine Koan, that will take away from other projects. I still don't have any real desire to publish a sequel, ESPECIALLY if if winds up changing tone (you'll know what I mean when you read the options in the poll.)

As always, I reserve the right to not do as this poll suggests, but I have enough personal interest in the story to at least ask the question. If I weren't open to it AT ALL I wouldn't ask. All right folks, let the voting commence.

It would depend on which project it edged out. If TAP then hell no, but I wouldn't be terribly upset if it won out over WYLAMG.

I would like to see a sequel, but not right know! TAP and WYLAMG deserve your primary focus.

My thought when I first saw Divine Koan was that it was going to be the new series (alongside TAP) and I figured it would be pretty fun to explore. However, I'm much more invested in WYLAMG as it is, so as above, yes but not right now. I'd be a bit interested in it as an in-between book sometimes, but it's low on my priorities.

I am one of the few who really enjoyed the “Divine Koan” when it released, and have been greatly interested to know what happens next! I think the story has lots of promise, and would love to see it picked up again sometime in the future. I made my vote 🙂

I'm completely satisfied with WYLAMG and TAP. You're pretty much a free spirit, though. Just go with what you enjoy and make the most of it.

Huge fan of all your work, I’ve been waiting for Velise and I finally saw it drop so I’m into that right now, however I really did like Divine Koan. I’m patient and good things come from you, so, I’ll be ecstatic if you make a sequel Harem style and explicit and I’ll be happy to wait a few years too, you’re keeping me plenty entertained in the meantime!

I found Divine Koan, meh, and I am much more interested in the other series you are working on such as WYLAMG.

I am one of the people who did truly enjoy the book. Flaws and all. I believe that is what made it more endearing. The harem books are okay but it is refreshing to have a series where the romance is centered on just two people. I think the story had great potential and still do. I think the characters were great and had a lot of room to be written for growth. I see the poll is trending negative so even if you do not continue the series in some fashion, I still appreciate the Send Me an Angel and all the hard work you put into it.
