I have a few ideas and right now I'm genuinely uncertain which one to roll with. Just be aware that the results of this poll will not be binding, but it may lean me a certain way.

I seen a comment that peaked my interest. Someone less dangerous might really work well. It would play out much different but still kinda the same. Where he would have to protect her much more often.

As Yitzhak said we've had 2 strong girls. I think we need to talk about the really strong and mature type. You have that dominering dragon(ess) running that university, full of magic, massive^999 will power, and unquestionable firey breath. Are you (author) going to leave her all alone, because... she's too strong of a character? Who could measure up to her standards? She put up with an insane husband? for how many years? Following that red dragon, she's probably 1000 years old and has more gold than Fort Knox. He challenged her piercing stare across the desk and looked deep into her golden slitted eyes and said... "I know this great vegetarian restaurant." Basically, she's Asturial's mother.

What about doing the dragon lady and a human wizard. He could try to steal from her to support innocents like an orphanage or something. It would make him a good person and make her “interested” in him. The wizard Idea would also be a good way to dive into the lore and magic. It would also be an interesting play on the whole “dragon vs. wizard” classic in fantasy.

I love how previous characters make appearances. I dont want to forget about Grace and Daniel or the Mayor and his wife lol. I see Dullahan has been mentioned; I support that one, or Maybe a Banshee. It would also be cool to see life in other city states, perhaps in the new one James and Selena could make a cameo as they move in. Maybe Doppelgänger, they are truly amoral, so the hero counter part would have to be either an anti villain (Eddie Brock and venom) or a true hero like Captain American to balance it out.

I agree with a few of the previous comments. Someone more vulnerable, or with obvious weakness could give some spice to the series, for example a dryad who cannot stay away from her tree too long or a mermaid who needs special accomodation and aids to leave in a human city.

A nereid would be another monster girl with special needs. Perhaps a gay, female nereid looking for her life partner. Not sure if a homosexual female monster and human woman would need help getting around the Spite. Maybe a female Totoro monster girl looking for the right man might be a fun book to read.

I would love to see Cinder as the next book or at least A book. The male main could be one of those "barn inventors" straight out of Bartau. He comes up with some sweet contraptions to get part of her hoard (passibly in a contest set up by Grace) to help his community. He thought that his version of the perfect woman was a highschool sweetheart housewife. What he gets is a domineering dragon sugar momma that he JUST CAN'T SHAKE. Thank you for the amazing stories so far and I hope to read whatever you put out!
