【Crossdresser Detective 3】 Development Progress Report (September 13, 2026) (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone, this is FT Girl!
I originally planned to start preparing the Demo for release around this point.
However, as I continued redesigning the UI and putting everything together, I realized that quite a few basic game features were still missing...
Resolution settings, CG Gallery unlocks, shop items, tutorials and feature explanations—over the past two weeks, I've been focusing heavily on filling in these fundamental systems.
I've also been reorganizing the game's audio and CG content.
The current Demo is expected to include one major story/event CG, along with several smaller in-game CG scenes that can be unlocked through defeat events.
Audio is still taking a little longer, though.https://store.steampowered.com/app/4107690/_/
Voice recording for both this project and the Steam version of PUBPET is currently waiting in the production queue, so it will probably take some more time before voices can actually be implemented.
I'm also still thinking about what kind of voice would fit Yan best.
Which would you prefer?A younger, more boyish voice
A more androgynous voice performed by a female voice actress
I'd like to prepare some samples for comparison later.
There's no need to rush the voice acting yet, though.
I can only properly move forward with voice recording once most of the CG scenes have been finalized, since I need to know exactly how many different scenes and voice variations will be required before giving the voice actress a clear set of requirements.
For now, the priority is continuing with the script, localization, and other preparation work.
CG Development
For the CGs, I'm planning to begin by remaking some of the more popular scenes and situations from Crossdresser Detective 1.
Some scenes that were previously combined into a single CG may be separated into multiple CGs this time, allowing each situation to have more dedicated variations.
I'm also trying to make the scale and proportions of props and environmental objects more realistic.
For example, some objects in the earlier games—such as the men's urinal used in one scene—were noticeably oversized.
This time, I'll be adjusting details like that and using real-world references for restraint equipment and other props whenever possible.
The rest of the CGs will be newly designed around the stages and story that have already been completed.
Please look forward to them!
Story & Chapter Structure
The overall story structure and stage progression are now much more clearly defined!
The current plan is:
6 Chapters × 10 Stages = 60 Stages
The story begins with the disappearance of a girl from an old apartment building.
From there, players follow Yan's investigation as she gradually traces the lower levels of a human trafficking organization.
As the investigation progresses, she becomes involved with criminal organizations operating throughout the city and uncovers various trafficking routes—including a gambling ship where an underground auction involving female police officers is being held.
Eventually, the investigation leads to a secluded island hiding an enormous facility operated by the organization.
The story won't be told exclusively through Yan's perspective, either.
While Yan's route is closer to that of a private detective conducting her own investigation, later stages will also allow the story to progress from the perspective of her older sister, an undercover investigator who has infiltrated the organization.
The relationship I'm aiming for is something like the two siblings repeatedly finding themselves in danger and coming to each other's rescue as their separate investigations gradually converge.
Progression & Unlocks
Different outfits will also be unlocked as the main story progresses.
Defeating certain bosses will unlock new weapons as well.
The overall progression will be mostly linear rather than heavily branching, but certain story-focused stages will have special conditions.
For example, some stages may require Yan to wear a specific outfit to match the corresponding story event or CG scene.
This will allow the clothing system to become part of the story itself rather than existing only as optional customization.
Overall, the Demo is now getting very close to completion.
But the further development progresses, the more I realize that Crossdresser Detective 3 has much more content than I originally expected...
There are still a lot of things to make, so completing the full game will definitely take some time.
Even so, I'll do my best to include as many of the outfits, different scenarios, gameplay ideas, and other requests you've shared with me as possible!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support!
