On atifascist relating to fascists: it's one of the strange asymmetries. Staunch antifascism requires some degree of radical empathybuilding, if fascism demands the objectification & dehumanization of the out group; antifascism means rejecting the impulse to dehumanize those jackasses (such as the "hey dude don't let yourself be pulled into the pyramid scheme of hate monetization" which yall so eloquently phrase as "decuck yourself") Easy as cake to say it, but yalls "getting" where people come from is a good reminder to check one's gut reaction to things like gun-nerding & allwhatnots. Like if one can't see the humanity in the chuds before one, one has gone astray.

On guns & Mexico: there is an insidious relationship between the gun absolutist American right & the flow of drugs. Firearms are all but impossible to procure legally in Mexico (we have precisely 1 place where they may be purchased, from the ...Navy if I'm not mistaken) thus a significant percentage of the firearms which organized crime uses are American weapons, payments in specie by the American side of the crime-network (& Nevermind the fact that the Zetas were alumni from the school of the Americas ) Gun absolutism, gun unregulation, links to other politics which somehow link to the Right.
