Hi everyone,

I hope you had a relaxing weekend. Welcome to all my new patrons. I'm very happy to have you join us here.

This is just a quick message to let you know that I have finished the Hydrangea painting and I have begun editing the videos to make a tutorial for you. There are 206 little videos that I have to piece together to make the tutorial so I'm anticipating that I'll have to split this painting into two longer videos for you.

I started painting the full hydrangea last week and decided after a few hours of painting that it would take me a week or three to finish it and then another two weeks or so to edit the videos. So I started a new painting. I zoomed in and cropped the Hydrangea in Photoshop. This made all the petals larger and easier to paint. So hopefully it won't be too daunting for newbies.

The second photo here is a frame 'mock up' that I did in Photoshop so you can see what it would look like if it was enlarged and framed. The third photo is a 'work in progress shot' of my painting table.

Ok....back to work. I'll post the tutorial as soon as I get it finished. Have a fabulous week!
